It will deliver Certificate I and II qualifications in automotive, construction and manufacturing to address skills shortages in the trades of automotive electrician, cabinetmaker, carpenter, carpenter and joiner, diesel motor mechanic, furniture upholsterer, motor mechanic, motorcycle mechanic, panel beater, picture framer, small engine mechanic, vehicle painter, vehicle trimmer and welder. Funding was approved to establish the Lower Burdekin Construction Trade. The includes the construction of an open plan shed and construction workshop and also the provision of equipment.
