There are two phototherapy processes for providig UV radiatio for ski diseases such as psoriasis, vitiligo ad eczema: a ormal oe where the ski is irradiated with a floodlight ad a digital oe. I this latter case, the UV radiatio is coverted ito a pixel matrix. Same-sized hole, twice the holdig torque x z A PD4-N6018 model with 3.54 Nm of holdig torque is located i the crossbeam (Y2 axis) where the exposure head is housed. I particular, the holdig torque of the origially preferred PD4-N5918 variat was ot eough durig real-world testig. Istead of 1.5 Nm, 3 Nm were required. I order to provide uiform drive architecture, a PD4-N5918 motor was chose for the X-axis as well. The height is cofigured usig two ST4118 stepper motors plus a SMCI47 cotrol system, combied with a liear slide, i closed loop mode. Rated output: D6: 24 watts at 25,000 rpm, DS28: 75 watts at 14,000 rpm The ew BLDC flat motors from Naotec are the ideal solutio for may applicatios due to their compact, flat desig (45 mm diameter; legth < 30 mm). For the 16-pi exteral rotor motors of the DF45 series, the permaet magets are located o the rotor bell revolvig aroud the iteral stator with the widigs. Two ewly developed rotary ecoders ow allow the rage of applicatios for closed loop techology to be expaded to additioal applicatios. The two optical NOE1 ad NOE2 rotary ecoders achieve a high resolutio of up to 4000 pulses per revolutio i a small desig. As a result, a mechaical resolutio dow to ca be achieved usig quadratic evaluatio. Model NOE1 NOE2 This correspods to a resolutio of 80 icremets per step for a stepper motor with a 1.8 step agle ad this is four to eight times the resolutio that has bee achieved with covetioal icremetal ecoders. This ca be used to measure the commutatio agle i field-orieted cotrolled operatio with high accuracy ad allows very good sychroizatio eve at low speeds. What is Closed Loop? Siusoidal commutatio via ecoder with field-orieted cotrol is referred to as a closed loop process. Through the ecoder the rotor positio is recorded ad siusoidal phase currets are geerated i the motor coils. The vector cotrol of the magetic field esures that the stator magetic field is vertical to the rotor magetic field ad the field stregth correspods precisely to the required torque. The regulated curret level i the coils provide eve motor force ad result i a especially quiet-ruig motor that ca be accurately regulated. True VS Pseudo Closed Loop There are stepper motors that do add the closed loop flag ad work with ecoders, but offer o field-orieted, siusoidal curret cotrol. They oly check the step positio, ad caot correct step losses durig operatio. True closed loop with field-orieted regulatio compesates step losses durig the ru or prevets them from occurrig by icreasig the motor curret. Advatages over stadard stepper motors Step motors are used where fixed positios are to be ru. The traditioal step motor trasfers electrical eergy ito precise mechaical movemets, as log as the motor torque is ot exceeded. As there is o positio feedback ad cotrol loop, the motor losses steps if uexpected load chages or resoace occur, ad o loger moves to the required positio. I these circumstaces, the Closed Loop stepper motor ca re-regulate, ad reliably reaches the specified positio. The ope cotrol circuit meas that the stadard stepper motor is always operated with the same curret regardless of the load ad therefore becomes relatively hot i may applicatios. Via the curret cotrol i the closed loop, the curret level is adjusted for the required torque; o uecessary heat loss is produced, ad the eergy cosumptio is reduced accordigly. Advatages over servo-motors Closed loop stepper motors from Naotec represet a alterative to servodrives i may cases, such as widig applicatios or coveyor belt drives. They are desiged for high, reproducible resolutio (< 1 µm) ad for quick feedig (> 300 mm/sec.). All of our liear actuators ca replace stadard motors ad allow the desig of uiform costructio platforms. They are low-frictio ad low-wear due to the PEEK uts beig used. Some versios are self-lockig ad ca be operated without a brake. Alteratively, if a tesio load cell is used for more precise cotrol, the its sigal ca be processed by the Plug & Drive motor directly. The example applicatio substitutes a liear actuator for the layig drive ofte ecessary i widig applicatios. Fast reversig is ecessary at the reversal poits i order to esure that the material is laid uiformly. Thaks to the closed loop, this task ca ow be solved with a simple screw while more elaborate mechaical solutios were required i the past. The NOE1 ecoder was istalled o the gearbox output shaft i order to be able to positio with 100% accuracy despite backlash from the gearbox. Usig quadrature evaluatio, a resolutio of ca be reproducibly achieved this way.
