2 MATERIALS RESEARCH SOCIETY Advancing materials. Improving the quality of life. The Materials Research Society (MRS) has come a long way since a visionary group of scientists laid the groundwork in the 1970s for a new scientific conference drawing together researchers from across disciplines. Today MRS is a global 16,000-member organization whose scientific meetings continue to cover the broad spectrum of cutting-edge materials science. From its flagship publications MRS Communications, MRS Bulletin, Journal of Materials Research (JMR) and MRS Advances (formerly the MRS Online Proceedings Library) to the newly published MRS Energy & Sustainability: A Review Journal, MRS identifies and responds to the evolving needs of the materials community. To carry through with the Society s imperative to use materials research to improve the quality of life, MRS is also active in developing outreach, STEM and advocacy initiatives to educate and engage the public, policymakers, educators and technical innovators. Showcasing new products or announcing upcoming conferences through electronic or direct mail is one of the most effective marketing tools available. The Materials Research Society offers and postal distribution lists that provide access to key scientists, engineers and research managers who are active in forefront areas of materials research and technology. Lists are available by four main categories and each of these is further subdivided into more specific topical categories. Select one main category or topical category, or tailor a combination of lists to meet your particular needs. With MRS mailing lists you can target your message, test your ideas and measure your response. And that means maximum results for your direct-mail dollar.

3 Mailing List Rental Order Procedure Materials Research Society mailing lists are available for rent for one-time use only with each order and cannot be duplicated, entered into any database or used for telemarketing purposes. MRS reserves the right to deny requests which are intended for mailings in conflict with its programs, principles or other interests.
