1 2012 Year in Review The Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence completed an outstanding year of service to our community as we met our mission of helping to strengthen nonprofits across the Greater Richmond region. I couldn t be more proud of our staff, board, investors, and community partners who make our work possible. We love what we do and will continue to strive for nonprofit excellence for ourselves and our colleagues in the sector. Many thanks to everyone who continues to believe in us and in the power of nonprofits to handle much of the heavy lifting in our community while addressing advocacy, arts, culture, the digital divide, education, the environment, health, hunger, poverty and other issues. Your investment in us in time, money and energy helps to increase the odds that nonprofits in our region are more operationally and financially sound, have stronger leadership, and are sustainable in order to continue providing important and necessary community services. This 2012 Year in Review is intended to provide you with a snapshot of our activities over the past year that contribute to our collective mission and the quality of life in our region. All the best to you and yours for a fantastic 2013! We look forward to seeing you soon. With gratitude, Melissa Hough President & CEO Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence What does the community think about the Partnership programs? As a recurring theme, both survey and focus group findings revealed favorable impressions about the Partnership and its programs. 95% of respondents indicated that the Partnership provides valuable services to the nonprofit community. 76% indicated that they would recommend Partnership programs without reservations. To read the full survey results please visit the Partnership website.
