10 Proposed Solution for You ü We can help your members help themselves empower them to increase their success from online marketing. ü We can show your members how to increase their bookings from their own websites and how to get more people to visit their websites. ü We have run similar Seminars & Workshops for Visit England, the English tourist board ( ü By doing this collectively it will help improve the general visibility of the Isle of Man online and is very cost-effective. ü We can achieve this by running a 3-Day Seminar & Workshop Program in Douglas for your members conducted by Ignite s Managing Director and Marketing Director.
11 Seminar & Workshop Program ü As discussed, we can run a series program to maximize the benefit to your members. ü The program can launch with a Seminar on the benefits and strategy of using digital marketing for hotels & accommodation businesses. ü This can be followed by two separate Workshops, a Beginners level and an Intermediate level. ü We have found that there are broad differences in the abilities of operators so this split-level approach ensures delegates get the most out of the process. ü This program can be run over consecutive days.
12 Seminar Contents A hotel s website is the hub of all its online marketing activity with the primary objective to convert site visitors into bookings. These conversions can be optimized using a mix of Usability, Design and Strategy. The Seminar will provide an overview of the digital marketing mix and explain digital marketing strategy. It will cover how the different channels ( , SEO, PPC, Social Media) work together to send people to the website. It s important for small & medium hotel owners to gain a costeffective competitive advantage by understanding these techniques.
13 Workshop Contents The Seminar will be followed by Workshops which will provide detail on how to use each of the primary digital marketing communication channels. We ll show your members the tricks & techniques for increasing their website conversion rates (the proportion of people who visit their website that book) Then we ll show them how to get more people to their website and how to maximize the effectiveness of their online marketing tools. The Beginner s Workshop will be suitable for those people with very little experience in digital marketing, that wish to learn about the different techniques, explore what is possible, and how to go about benefiting from digital marketing. The Intermediate Workshop will be suitable for those hoteliers who currently do some digital marketing and already have some experience in managing their websites and make use of some digital channels.
