2 Victorian Tea Party Make a birthday wish come true at Historic Rosedale Plantation with a Victorian Tea and dress up party. While your little gent s and ladies sips sweet tea and nibble on cookies in our elegant garden, they will enjoy a fun-filled lesson in manners from Miss. Frew the Caldwell s governess, as she entertains your children with stories and games from Antebellum times Pricing starts at $ Basic party includes: 3 hour Victorian Garden & Pergola rental Three Round Tables and standard linens Seating for up to 18 children Tea settings & sweet tea or lemonade Take home gift for guest Play graces and learn proper manners from Miss. Mary Frew, the Caldwell s governess, while enjoying a beautiful day in our gardens. As a guest to this tea party your child and their friends will look at some of the most unusual customs and superstition practiced during the Victorian times and play Victorian Games. Program max 18 Parties can be moved to the English Basement Kitchen for inclement weather

3 The Dr. s Shop Mix up fun in The Dr. s Shop for your child s birthday with this fun science themed celebration. As your child learns about Heroic Medicine and the life of an early doctor they and their guest will use oils, herbs, and natural items to make their own natural healing soaps and lotions that they actually can use! This birthday party is sure to be a hit for children of all ages. Pricing starts at $ Basic party includes: 2.5 hour Chestnut Picnic Area rental Picnic Table seating for 36 Guest Take home crafts for all guest Get a lesson in herbal medicine as your child and their guest learn how Dr. Caldwell cured diseases like the itch in 1840 s! Using recipes from the past your child and their guest will learn to make healing soaps and oils using, while learning about herbs and other healing plants. With blooming crepe Myrtles, a stunning pergola, and secret garden your child will feel like they have been transported to a magical place for their special occasion. Decorated as an Antebellum kitchen, this space will add an unique look to your child s Rosedale themed birthday or custom party. Your birthday party host can provide you access to this well equipped facility as needed. Bathrooms are handicap accessible. If your event requires additional facilities our events planner can help you make arrangements. Sit beneath the limbs of a rare year old Swamp Chestnut Tree that once was the gathering place of Rosedale's enslaved community. Our Swamp Chestnut Picnic Area has 7 picnic tables nestled among the foundations and ruins of Rosedale s old outbuildings.
