4 Quality Mark QM Through TOCEMA Europe, the SATCM, together with its European partners, has developed a Quality Mark. Quality Mark Certification - This certification ensures a sustainable interaction by focusing on the structure and governance Self assessment tools Member benefit Guidance and training sessions is available QM recognition is valid for three years and may, within one year thereafter be renewed in a simplified revision of application.

5 Quality Mark QM The application must be in accordance with the following definition of TCM (developed in a European project, TOCEMA) TCM works for a vital and lively city center. TCM is an expression of economic, social and cultural development of the town center in harmony with the overall urban development. TCM focuses on vision, strategic development and advocates active participation of various stakeholders focusing on management, marketing, mobilization and development of the town center. TCM brings together stakeholders from different sectors and facilitate the understanding, sharing of information and implementation

6 City Centre of the Year has been awarded 20 years in a row to the city or town which during the previous years made the biggest progress in its renewal of its City Centre, with the cooperation of both private and public stakeholders

9 Criteria City Centre of the Year Downtown's development in recent years - What results - Showcase your goals - Follow-up targets. - What impact has your development efforts had? - Both qualitative and quantitative metrics. Collaboration Your development of the town center should be in close cooperation with downtown's private interests and the municipality. Current QM? You should recognize that you meet the criteria for QM quality measurement for collaborative processes.
