1 Summary of changes effective 7/30: 1. Reward Zone points: Points will no longer expire at the end of the year. Keep your points as long as you have qualifying activity in your account at least once every 12 months. 2. Reward Zone Credit Card Purchases: You are eligible to receive 5% back (2.5 points per $1) 1 on standard credit purchase made with your Reward Zone Credit Card. Purchases made on your credit card using promotional financing will not qualify for points. All purchases made on your credit card will continue to count toward Premier Silver status, regardless of financing option used. Reward Zone program rules effective 7/30/13 Become a Member The Best Buy Reward Zone program membership is open to individual U.S. (50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico) residents at least 13 years of age (18 or 19 years of age for the Reward Zone program Credit Card and the Reward Zone program MasterCard ), who provide and maintain a valid address. Resellers may not participate in the Reward Zone program. Communications about the program, including any changes, will be communicated by or on MyRewardZone.com. By joining the program, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age or older (18 or 19 years of age for Reward Zone program Credit Card and Reward Zone program MasterCard ), and by using this program you agree that you have read and agree to these Program Rules. You specifically agree to provide and maintain a valid address and to keep Best Buy informed of any changes to your address. If you are between 13 and the age of majority (18 or 19 years old, depending on which jurisdiction you reside in), you agree that you have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian to be a member of the program. Your membership is nontransferable and is subject to present and future program rules. Your membership is valid only at participating Best Buy retail store locations and at BestBuy.com. You agree to receive operational communications about the program, as well as optional advertising and marketing material from Best Buy. Best Buy may, at any time, terminate or modify the Reward Zone program by posting the modified rules on MyRewardZone.com Reward Zone Points As a member of the Reward Zone program you will receive 1 base point per $1 spent on qualifying purchases (see "Non- Qualifying Purchases" below) when you use your Reward Zone program membership for purchases made at Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com. To get points for purchases at BestBuy.com, you must add your Reward Zone member number to your BestBuy.com account; this can be accomplished at BestBuy.com/linkrz. Setting up a BestBuy.com account is a separate process from registering your Reward Zone membership. Points will post to your Reward Zone account approximately 20 days from purchase date, delivery date or shipment date. Points are based on dollars spent on qualifying purchases. If an item is returned, points will be deducted from your Reward Zone membership equal to the amount of points awarded for the applicable amount of that purchase. Points will be awarded to only one Reward Zone membership per transaction. Membership cards, points and reward certificates have no cash value. You cannot give or transfer your membership card, membership benefits, points or reward certificates to anyone else, except to the extent that Best Buy may permit you to transfer points, as specified on MyRewardZone.com. A member cannot redeem reward certificates from multiple accounts. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply. Bonus points are awarded in addition to base points. If you make a qualifying purchase and did not provide your Reward Zone member number at the time of purchase, you may request points within 180 days of purchase by signing in at and selecting the Report Missing Purchase link, or by calling BEST BUY ( ). You must have your receipt. Reward Zone members can also get points by transacting with Reward Zone Partners. Partner offers can be found at and are subject to change. Points from a partner transaction will post to your account 4 6 weeks from your transaction. If you make a qualifying purchase or transaction with a partner and do not see your points posted to your Reward Zone account, please contact the partner; not Best Buy. If applicable, the partner may

2 validate that your transaction was eligible for points and if valid, they will send the applicable information to Best Buy so your points can be properly credited. From time-to-time, Best Buy may test new products, services or promotions. Some tests may also have implications for Reward Zone members that may vary from the rules as stated here. When a different set of policies or rules applies, we will communicate that at the time of the applicable test. Get Rewards For every 250 Reward Zone points you receive, you will be eligible to receive a $5 reward certificate. Reward certificates are coupons for discounts off future purchases at participating Best Buy retail store locations or at BestBuy.com, and may only be redeemed for a discount off purchase amounts equal to or greater than the sum of the reward certificate(s) presented for redemption, excluding "Non-Qualifying Redemptions" (see below). Reward certificates are not transferable and may only be used by the member to whom issued. Reward certificates will be available approximately 3-5 days after reaching the reward certificate issuance level chosen. Reward certificates may be used in conjunction with most other discounts or offers toward the purchase of products, not to exceed the purchase amount. Unless noted otherwise on the reward certificate, each reward certificate will expire 90 days from the issuance date or 180 days for Premier Silver members. Reward certificates have no cash value and no change will be given for reward certificate redemption. Reward certificates may be used only once. Reward certificates expire at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the expiration date shown on the reward certificate. Non-Qualifying Purchases The following items are considered non-qualifying purchases for which points will not be awarded: purchases/rentals at rent-to-own locations inside Best Buy stores, instant rebates and the value of mail-in rebates on purchases, pre-orders at the time of deposit (the points will be awarded at the time of final payment or at the time you pick up the product), purchases made for resale, purchases paid with a reward certificate, Best Buy Gift Card or Magnolia Gift Card, Miele appliances bought in AZ, CA, or NV, sales tax, jurisdictional fees, service charges, certain Best Buy for Business or commercial purchases, recycling fees, other excluded charges and certain items that are excluded in particular promotions. Best Buy entities such as Best Buy Express and Geek Squad participate in awarding points in a more limited way (see each of those entities for details; Geek Squad services purchased in store are awarded points; Geek Squad services purchased in home are not). Reward Zone program points are awarded upon purchase of Best Buy Gift Cards and Magnolia Gift Cards, but not on redemption. Best Buy Gift Card and Magnolia Gift Card purchases are excluded from all bonus point promotions unless otherwise noted. Non-Qualifying Redemptions Reward certificates are redeemable toward the purchase of any eligible product or service with a total purchase in excess of the amount of the reward certificate excluding tax. The following items are considered non-qualifying redemptions for which reward certificates may not be redeemed: purchases/rentals at rent-to-own locations inside Best Buy stores, prior purchases, purchase of Best Buy or Magnolia Gift Cards, Visa or MasterCard prepaid access cards, purchases made for resale, payment on any Best Buy Credit Card or Reward Zone program Credit Card, Miele appliances in AZ, CA or NV, sales tax, jurisdictional fees, service charges, recycling fees and discounted Best Buy for Business or commercial purchases. Other exclusions may apply.

3 Program Activity Requirements If there is no activity on your Reward Zone account for a period of 12 consecutive months, the points in your account (excluding Premier Silver members) will be issued as reward certificates down to the $5 level and any remaining point balance will be forfeited. For example, if you have 300 points, you will receive a $5 reward certificate (250 points) and you will forfeit 50 points. Your Reward Zone account will remain eligible to receive points up to the 25 th month of no activity. Upon the 25 th month of no activity, your account will be closed. Activity includes: qualifying purchases made at Best Buy and BestBuy.com using your Reward Zone member number, issuance of Reward Zone points for non-purchase activity, reward certificate redemption, self-issuance of a reward certificate. Membership Expiration, Cancellation and Termination Members (excluding Premier Silver members) who have no qualifying activity during any continuous 25-month period, will automatically have their membership expire on the last day of the 25th month of membership inactivity and that membership will be inactivated. Memberships may be canceled at any time by notifying Member Services by or phone. Cancellation may take from 6 to 8 weeks to finalize. Upon cancellation your membership will be inactivated. If your membership expires, is canceled or otherwise inactivated, you will receive reward certificates to the $5 level. Any remaining points will be forfeited. For example, if you have 300 points, you will receive a $5 reward certificate (250 points) and you will forfeit 50 points. In situations involving errors or misuse of the program, we specifically reserve the right to freeze related accounts and stop future redemption of reward certificates issued from those accounts. Best Buy reserves the right to terminate your membership for any reason or no reason and at its sole discretion. If at any time your point balance becomes negative, we may immediately cancel or reverse any or all outstanding points and reward certificates issued from your account. We may also terminate your Reward Zone program account. Resellers Resellers are specifically excluded from the program. If you purchase items for resale, we reserve the right not to award points, to deduct improperly awarded points, to invalidate improperly issued reward certificates issued from such accounts, as well as to terminate the membership and decline to permit anyone we believe is associated with the resale activity, or the account, to enroll in any Best Buy loyalty or other program, if we so desire. We have sole discretion over whether to deem any purchase a purchase for resale, Best Buy Employee Terms Specific terms, exclusions and applicability for Reward Zone program membership may be found through internal resources.

You agree that if you have a dispute with Best Buy about the program, you will try to resolve the dispute through negotiation with Best Buy. If agreement cannot be reached after negotiation, you agree to seek resolution through binding arbitration. Privacy Policy The information you provide as a member of the Reward Zone program will be handled according to the Best Buy Privacy Policy. Reward Zone Credit Card and Reward Zone MasterCard Reward Zone Credit Card cardholders and Reward Zone MasterCard cardmembers will receive 1.5 additional bonus points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases at Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com when using their Reward Zone program credit card and selecting standard credit. Promotional credit purchases do not qualify for base or bonus points. Reward Zone MasterCard cardmembers also receive 1 bonus point for every $2 of qualifying Net Purchases outside Best Buy when using the Reward Zone MasterCard card. In addition, certain limited-time promotions may be offered for Net Purchases outside Best Buy that may enable members to receive additional bonus points. Bonus points will not be multiplied. Net Purchase means any purchase of goods or services on the Reward Zone Credit Card or the Reward Zone MasterCard, excluding: 1) refunds, returns and/or unauthorized transactions; 2) cash advances; 3) any transaction that is equivalent to a cash transaction, such as, but not limited to, the purchase of wire transfers, money orders, bets, lottery tickets or casino gaming chips; 4) taxes and delivery charges; or 5) any annual fee or other fees paid on these cards.

5 Premier Silver A Reward Zone program member qualifies for Premier Silver status approximately 20 days after the member spends a total of $2500 on qualifying purchases (see Non-Qualifying Purchases above) at Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com during a single calendar year. A Reward Zone program MasterCard cardmember qualifies for Premier Silver status approximately 35 days after the member spends $2500 on qualifying purchases (see Non-Qualifying Purchases above) inside or outside Best Buy during a single calendar year. Any return that makes total qualifying purchases less than $2500 may void Premier Silver qualification. Best Buy may choose to confer the Premier Silver status upon others based on certain purchase behaviors or other nondiscriminatory criteria (dates and benefits may vary for people who are invited to join). If you qualify for Premier Silver status or if you are invited to join, we will notify you. Except for Premier Silver benefits described at MyRewardZone.com/PremierSilver, Premier Silver members are subject to the same Program Rules that apply to Reward Zone program members. Your status as a Premier Silver member will begin when you qualify, will continue through the end of the following calendar year and will end on the last day of the following February. In any subsequent year, a Premier Silver member requalifies for Premier Silver status when the member spends a total $2500 on qualifying purchases at Best Buy stores or at Bestbuy.com during that calendar year. If a member does not requalify for Premier Silver status in the second or subsequent year, Premier Silver status will expire at the end of February in the third or subsequent calendar year and the member's Reward Zone program Premier Silver membership will revert to a standard Reward Zone program membership. (See chart below for example.) See Membership Expiration, Cancellation and Termination above for details about what happens when a standard Reward Zone program member does not have any qualifying point activity in a single calendar year. Year of becoming Premier Silver member Calendar Year 1 (Jan.-Dec.) Time period during which you are a Premier Silver member and may requalify for Premier Silver status Calendar Year 2 (Jan.-Dec.) Date upon which Premier Silver benefits end, and standard Reward Zone program benefits resume if requalification does not occur Through the end of February in Calendar Year 3 Reward Zone program members with Premier Silver status will receive ¼ bonus point per $1 spent on qualifying purchases at Best Buy or on BestBuy.com when they identify themselves as a Premier Silver member. Reward Zone credit card holders with Premier Silver status will receive an additional ¼ bonus point per $1 spent on qualifying purchases at Best Buy or on BestBuy.com when they use their Reward Zone program Credit Card and select standard credit. (Please note that bonus points will not be multiplied.) We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Reward Zone program, Premier Silver status or its benefits at any time without notice. Reward Zone benefits, including Premier Silver benefits, may not be exchanged for cash value. If we materially modify the Premier Silver status qualification, we will notify you by and at MyRewardZone.com/ PremierSilver.
