3 PREPARATION BEFORE THE RACE Follow these instructions in order to speed up the process of registration on the race day: 1) Before the race, make sure that you have made the payment according to instructions and that you received confirmation . 2) Visit the website with details about the Prague Spartan Sprint 3) You can find the information about the race and documents to download on the bottom of the race website. Print the Reebok Spartan Race WAIVER which is located on the website of the race. 4) Start list with start numbers will be posted on the website of the race at latest on Wednesday April 20, ) Check out the start list and find your start number. Names are sorted alphabetically. You will find your start number (BIB) and your start time here. Please, fill in the information to the waiver. 6) Fill in the WAIVER completely and bring the form, together with your proof of identity, on the day of the race. 7) EACH COMPETITOR must sign the WAIVER and present a valid identity document. Each competitor who forget the WAIVER can pick it up at the registration spot, in INFORMATION place, but will have to do 30 BURPEES. PROCEDURE OF REGISTRATION ON THE RACE DAY Note: The registration on the race day is possible for the price of 82 EUROS, provided the race is not sold out. All those who register on the race day can run only in a heat determined to them by the organizer. 1) Proceed, with your start number, signed WAIVER and proof of identity in hand, to registrations. If you do not know your starting number, you can find it on the board with start numbers. 2) During registrations, shift to the queue according to your start number. 3) Competitors shall hand over the signed WAIVER to our amazing volunteers. After verification of your identity and correctly completed WAIVER, you will receive a starter package. It is not possible to participate in the race without the WAIVER. 4) In the bag, you receive: start number (attach it visibly on your chest, back), headband, tape and timing chip that you put on your hand's wrist. Coupon for beverages it will be the tape on your hand, don't forget it. Colored tapes are for a T- shirt and a medal. 5) Proceed toward the Festival arena. 6) BAG CHECK. After entering the race premises, you can put off your things securely at BAG CHECK. Your belongings will be marked with colored tape. The bag check will be open since 5:30 till 16:30 for the fee CZK 30. Bag check is not responsible for loss or damage of your belongings. 7) WARM-UP. We encourage everyone to warm-up before the race. We assist you with it before every start. START TIMES 7:00 Start of the Elite heat men 7:15 Start of the Elite heat women 7:30 Start of the Open heat every minutes 14:45 Start of the last heat Beginning 7:00, heats of 200 to 250 competitors will start every minutes. You have to run in the heat in which you registered to, otherwise we will not guarantee that you have correctly measured time, and this is why we ask you for getting to the start place on a time. You should know your start time at least 1 day before the race. If you don't know the time, you can check it at the Spartan Sprint Prague race website, and at premises of the race. In case you have a problem with registration, visit our INFORMATION tent where we help you to solve it. COMPETITORS WHO WILL NOT START IN THE HEAT IN WHICH THEY REGISTERED TO WILL NOT HAVE THE TIME MEASURED AND WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!

4 TRACK DESCRIPTION The Spartan Sprint Prague track is at least 5 km long, with artfully embedded artificial and natural hurdles (at least 20) like from hell. White tapes with the SPARTAN RACE writing and boards with arrows indicating the direction will designate the track and the track marshals will also help you find the right direction. If you will not overcome a hurdle, you undergo the punishment in form of 30 Burpees indiscriminately men and women. If you do not perform Burpees correctly, you will be asked to repeat the exercise. Disobeying means disqualification. Note that you have only one attempt to overcome some hurdles, e.g. javelin throwing, climbing wall, etc., and to overcome others you could have unlimited number of attempts, until a hurdle will be overcomed, e.g. slippery wall, etc. Some hurdles don't have the possibility to make penalty exercises, you have to simply try to finish them (e.g. carrying, pulling, hoisting of the weight). You can't start a hurdle straight with penalty exercise, without making at least one attempt to overcome it. Video-instructions how to make Burpees is here. General rules are here. REFRESHMENT STATION There will be one refreshment station with water on the track, and the other will be right at finish line. We encourage athletes to take own water supplies with them in camelbag or in similar equipment. Glass bottles are not allowed on the track. Outside designated refreshment areas, it is strictly forbidden to throw any waste out, and it will be punished with disqualification. TIMEKEEPING You will receive electronic chip (worth USD 40) and tape for measuring of your time and result. The competitors who abandon the race must return the chip. The chip must be fastened around your hand's wrist in order to ensure reliable signal recording, see picture. If you come in to a finish without the chip, please, report your start number to timekeepers in order to allow them record your time manually. IF YOU COME IN WITHOUT THE CHIP, TAPE AND NUMBER, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE MEDAL NOR T-SHIRT After coming in a finish: Unclip and return the chip to organizers immediately behind the finish line. You get the SR medal and T-shirt only after returning the chip. The times of all competitors will be on the screen near the RESULTS tent, and, after the race, also at the timekeeping website AWARD CEREMONY The ELITE HEAT award ceremony is scheduled for 11:05 in the stage space. The winners of INDIVUDUAL ELITE HEAT will receive a special price from the organizers - material prizes from partners, and tickets for the next race. 1st place men and women 2nd place men and women 3rd place men and women Free ticket to following race, non-transferable Free ticket to following race, non-transferable Free ticket to following race, non-transferable 1st place team Free tickets to following race for team members, non-transferable Only the competitors registered as individuals can compete for a place in individuals category. Those of you who want to compete in this category cannot be registered as a team. In other words, it is not possible to win as an "individual" and run for the team at the same time. It is not possible to replace the results of a "team" for "individuals". Open Heat awards are scheduled for 16:30, and winners will be awarded with prices from partners and with diplomas. THE WINNERS WHO WILL NOT ATTEND AWARD CEREMONY WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY AWARDS. THE PRIZES SHALL AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT. THE PRIZES WILL NOT BE SENT BY POST. PROTESTS Protests regarding results of the ELITE WAVE can be submitted to the Director of the Race no later than at 10:00.

5 The fee for submitting an official protest is CZK The fee will be returned after confirmation of the protest's justification. PHOTOS FROM THE RACE Photos from the race will be available online for free, directly on our FB pages and website, approximately 7 days after the race. Photographers will be linked to automatic system for collection of photos with subsequent identification by the chip. The system provides at least 1 photo for each competitor. The condition is that a competitor crosses the measuring surface installed in front or behind a hurdle. The obstacles with official photographer will be marked black, with logo of a camera. Note: Writing the start number on your body doesn't guarantee that you will have the photo from our photographer. Links to the photo albums will be published at our FB. The official video can be found on our YouTube. KIDS RACE - START TIMES All the times are published in the day schedule. Registration for children's SPARTAN RACE will be directly on the spot, in the tent marked as KIDS REGISTRATION. Children can register till 11:30, and only if accompanied by their parents. A parent must sign the WAIVER. Entry fee is CZK 400. The payment is possible in cash only. Each child who reaches the finish line receives the SR medal and T-shirt. There will be no winners announced/awarded in kids category. ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM While waiting for your start heat, you can use the time so that you engage in some of the accompanying mini competitions. You can compete in: Burpees per minute, pull-ups number, etc. DJ Vichy will take care for good vibrations. ACCOMMODATION: The city of Prague offers many options for accommodation (booking.com). THERE IS NO TENT CAMP FOR RACERS AVAILABLE. PARKING We encourage all competitors and visitors to use public transport (tram, metro, train) because parking areas are limited and privately owned. Tram Metro Holešovice station, and then 1 station by tram or by feet, c. 8 minutes. Train Holešovice station, and then c. 8 minutes by feet. AUDIENCE Audience may bring cameras with, but have to be careful when making photos, so that this activity doesn't endanger health of other participants of the event. Viewers are prohibited to enter the racetrack and spaces which are not intended for them. At the race premises, food and beverages will be provided by a catering company. DJ & reproduced music will accompany the event all day long. FOOD AND DRINKS Each competitor will receive water and non-alcoholic beer Staropramen Cool at the finish line. The race organizers encourage all visitors of this sporting event to drink alcoholic beverages responsibly. SPARTAN SHOP

6 The Spartan Shop will offer a variety of stylish souvenirs for sale. Don't miss this opportunity to preserve your memories on the epic successes you have achieved. SOCIAL AND SANITARY EQUIPMENT Portable toilets will be installed in the area, near registration spot. Spartan showers will be near the Festival arena. Changing rooms for both sexes will be near the BAG CHECK spot. OTHER INFORMATION Dogs can't run freely. Please, don't bother the owner of the premises with phone calls/questions. Our website is the best source for accurate and up-to-date information. Sleep enough before the race as this race is no fun. UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES In the case of very unfavourable weather, natural disasters, organizational or technical complications, the SPARTAN RACE reserves the right to change or modify all or a part of the track, as well as the hurdles, or the whole race, in order to maintain the safety of competitors, audience and organizers. ACCREDITATION OF JOURNALISTS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS Only accredited journalists, photographers, and filmmakers will have permission to film, photograph and move across all sections of the track. You can ask for the accreditation by to info@cz.spartan.com in advance, respectively at least 2 days before the race, or directly at the race spot in the PRESS CENTER tent. RESULTS LIST During the race, results will be displayed on light screen in finish line area and on the results' screen in the RESULTS tent. After the race, there will be published unofficial results list which can be found at the Online System timekeeping website. Competitors may report their complaints regarding the results list (it can be a bad name, time, sequence, etc.) in 48 hours since the race completion by or directly to the timekeeping company. No corrections nor changes will be accepted after this deadline. ANY COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE RESULTS LIST ADDRESSED TO THE SPARTAN RACE WILL NOT BE HANDLED. THE COMPLAINTS SHOULD BE SENT TO TIMEKEEPING COMPANY. THANK YOU. The official results list will be published within 7 days since the day of the race at our website, and in this final form will be sent to the U.S., to the world table. FAIR PLAY It's a fun for all no second nor result is worth damaging playmates. Please, act responsibly to everyone on the track, don't stay at the hurdles unnecessarily. The stronger can help the weaker. Any form of dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated, and the competitor will be disqualified immediately. On the track, a competitor can't accept technical or medical assistance, or other advantage from anyone outside of the race. The assistance can be obtained at the refreshment stations. Any shortening of the track, hurdles bypassing or omitting of the penalty exercises will ensure you immediate disqualification. Outside the designated zones at refreshment stations, it is not allowed to throw any waste. It is strictly prohibited and punishable with disqualification. INSURANCE Each competitor starts at his/her own responsibility and is insured for the race. Organizer is not responsible for damage to property or health related with travelling to the race and accommodation. We encourage all competitors to undergo medical examination before the race. Each participant is required to have a medical card with him/her.
