1 Introduction B Wallet service is USSD based mobile application where customer can use their mobile to do the transaction without visiting the branch office. The B Wallet service holder should have minimum account balance to do the transactions. Currently BDBL B Wallet provides the services only with B Mobile Subscribers with following services: 1. Prepaid Mobile Top up 2. Intra Bank Fund Transfers 3. Checking Last Two transaction history Very soon BDBL B Wallet service will be providing services with: 1. Utility Bill Payments (Bhutan Power Corporation) 2. Utility Bill Payments (Bhutan Telecom) 3. Utility Bill Payments (City Corporation) Accounting Transaction Flow In the ABS, the transactions will be made between the B Mobile Current Account (CD Account) maintained with BDBL Thimphu Main Branch and the customer s saving account in the case of mobile top up. Debit Customer Account Credit BT CD Account For fund transfer, the transactions will be directly between the customer and the beneficiary s saving accounts. Debit Sender Account Credit Beneficiary Account The service is available only for the customers subscribing to B mobile service and having saving account with BDBL. Registration Process 1. Fill the Registration Form with valid information. Registration form can be availed from BDBL branch office counter or Bhutan Telecom counter. You can download a from our official website 2. Submit your registration form to our Customer Desk with your complete information filled. 3. Your registration will be made in our system within 24 hours of your form submission. 4. Once the registration is successful you will receive a multiple SMS (as shown below) to your mobile containing M Pass generated by our system. M Pass will be used to authenticate your B Wallet service with your mobile number. Welcome to B Wallet. Your registration is under process. You will be notified via SMS upon completion. 1 2 You are now registered for Topup Service for Mobile xxxx9893 with B Wallet. 1

2 You are now registered for Fund Transfer service from A/C xxxx0416 with B Wallet. Your M Pass is Please dial *111# and change your M Pass With the help of M Pass you will be able to do the transactions. How to use After receiving the B Wallet registration SMS with M Pass. Follow the instruction below: 1. Dial short code number *111# If your mobile number is not registered for B Wallet service the short code number *111# will not work. You will receive service failure message. 2. Enter your M Pass and Press Dial Button or Click Send which ever it is Note: You will prompt for changing M Pass if you are using for first time. You will need to change the M Pass which you had received during registration. Change the M Pass with your new M Pass. Refer Change M Pass section for the instructions. 2

3 3. After successful entering of your M Pass, you will be displayed with B Wallet Menus. B Wallet 1. Prepaid Topup 2. Fund Transfer 3. History 4. Change M Pass Enter 1,2,3,4,* for back or # for main menu You will need to use option number (1,2,3,4) indicated on your mobile screen to use the service. Mobile Top Up B Wallet Mobile Top Up service can be used only with B Mobile Number to B Mobile Number and the B Mobile number should be Prepaid Number. Mobile Top up is not applicable for Post Number but the post paid customers can top up the balance for other pre paid customers. To use the Mobile Top up follow the below instructions: Mobile Top up Self 1. Enter your M Pass and Press 1 for mobile top up and press Send or Dial button which his 2. Press 1 and press Send or Dial button which is 3

4 3. Enter the Amount and press Send or Dial button which is 4. Press 1 to confirm your transaction or 2 to cancel the transaction and press Send or Dial button which is 5. You will receive Successful transaction message. Your Account will be Debited and Bhutan Telecom CD Account will be Credited after successful transaction. You will again receive successful Mobile Top up SMS notification. 4

5 Mobile Top up Others 1. Enter your M Pass and Press 1 for mobile top up and press Send or Dial button which his 2. Press 2 for Mobile Top up for other mobile number and press Send or Dial button which is 3. Enter the beneficiary Mobile Number of which you want to top up. Press Send or Dial button which is 4. Re Enter the beneficiary Mobile Number to confirm. Press Send or Dial button which is 5

6 5. Enter the Amount and press Send or Dial button which is 6. Press 1 to confirm your transaction or 2 to cancel the transaction and press Send or Dial button which is 7. You will receive Successful transaction message. Your Account will be Debited and Bhutan Telecom CD Account will be Credited after successful transaction. This time the beneficiary mobile (mobile number which you have mentioned above) holder will receive the Mobile Topup SMS notification. 6

7 Fund Transfer (Intra Bank Fund Transfer) BDBL Fund Transfer is applicable only for BDB account holders, i.e. Fund transfer can be done only between BDB accounts. To use the Mobile Intra Bank Fund Transfer follow the below instructions: 1. Enter your M Pass and Press 2 for Fund Transfer and press Send or Dial button which his 2. Enter beneficiary Account Number and press Send or Dial button which his 3. Re Enter beneficiary Account Number and press Send or Dial button which his 7

8 4. Enter Amount and press Send or Dial button which is 5. Press 1 to confirm your transaction or 2 to cancel the transaction and press Send or Dial button which is 6. You will receive Successful transaction message. Your Account will be Debited and beneficiary Account will be Credited. Check Transaction History B Wallet displays the last two recent transaction made from your Mobile Number. To check the recent transaction follow the instruction mentioned below: 8

9 1. Enter your M Pass and Press 3 to check transaction history and press Send or Dial button which his 2. Next screen will display you the last two recent transaction details made from your mobile. Press OK to close the screen or Press Call Reject button which is 9

10 Change M Pass Every individual users are requested to change the M Pass once every two months to keep your phone s B Wallet service secure. To change the M Pass follow the instruction mentioned below: 1. Enter your M Pass and Press 4 to change M Pass and press Send or Dial button which his 2. Enter your New M Pass and press Send or Dial button which is 3. Re Enter your New M Pass to confirm and press Send or Dial button which is 10
