1 LETTER Dear Friends: Big Bend Cares understands that besides offering an excellent value to your customers, you frequently extend your generosity to local nonprofits that provide services to families in need. Big Bend Cares invites you to sponsor our 23 rd Annual AIDS Walk & 5k/10k Run. Since 1987, Big Bend Cares has been the only AIDS Service Organization in our eightcounty region, and since 1990, the AIDS Walk/Run has been our biggest and most important fundraiser. As an AIDS Walk/Run sponsor your business will receive the attention of hundreds of walk/run participants, and free exposure in local media outlets. We want to make the walk run as successful as possible for the benefit of our neighbors who struggle daily with HIV/ AIDS. We believe enlisting the support of top-notch businesses, like yours, will make that happen. The AIDS Walk & 5k/10k Run will take place on Saturday, November 23 rd, at SouthWood. All proceeds will be applied to direct-care services for our clients, and HIV prevention and education for the entire Big Bend region.
