2 Introduction The Natural Spa Factory is dedicated to supporting spas, boutique hotels and independent retailers both on and offline, by creating exceptional quality private label products. We firmly believe that smaller businesses propose a unique opportunity for selling own branded products. When a customer visits you they want to experience something unique and special, something you have created. After all, you differentiate yourself from your competitors with décor, food, style and service! Overview We currently supply some of the UK s leading hotels and spas with either their professional products or private label supplies and we d be delighted to supply you. Branding your own range of products can be an effective marketing tool and executed well, can mean additional revenue for your business if selling through retail. 3 Overview & Process The Process No formulation costs on our own blend ranges Low minimum orders min. 100* units per SKU (stock keeping units) Free product samples Free design templates and visuals available Opportunity to sell through third party website to maximise sales and your brand awareness (limited availability) We only use ingredients derived from nature, we avoid nasties in our products where possible NO SLS, NO Parabens and NO Animal Testing Our lotions, potions, scrubs and oils are all made in the UK (unless specified) One off set up charge includes unlimited number SKU s and re-orders All products are FULLY COMPLIANT with current EU legislation Free Point of Sale material, A4, A5 posters and tent cards ready for you to print *Only on our own blend ranges We have a minimum of 4 production slots a year, sometimes more if we are particularly busy and in order for us to secure a slot for you we will require the following: STEP 1 - Pay the non-refundable set up fee STEP 2 - Approve your visuals and/or make any amends you wish. Send back to us within 7 days to make the changes and re-issue the artwork for final proof. STEP 3 - Confirm the number of products you require and place your order. At this stage we will require a 50% deposit and in addition we now have to register all products onto the cosmetics portal price on application. STEP 4 - We will send you final visuals of your range and go into production which takes approx 8-12 weeks and can be longer during silly seasons like Christmas. STEP 5 - Prior to despatch the remainder of your balance is required. We will then dispatch your goods ready for you in saleable condition. STEP 6 - You will probably have thought about this already but please before embarking on private label do consider effective sales and marketing plan for you and your team. Just putting your product on the shelf will not necessarily ensure its success. Terms & Conditions apply, please ask for a full copy. If you are a new business or web based business please do not be offended but we may ask to see evidence that you have thought this through, after all it is an investment and we want you to stand the best possible chance of selling your goods, and of course coming back to us and buying more! Once you have considered all the above, call us on to discuss further. Initially, if you don t have designs we will ask for a high resolution version of your logo so that we can prepare some visual samples, discuss pricing and the products you are interested in. From here we will require a small, one off payment (valid up to 10 SKUs) from you to secure product mock ups and your production slot. Once you are completely satisfied with your products then we will go into production. Production Times We run our small-run production times around our seasonal launches. Of course, if you are doing a large run of units we will arrange timings separately with you. You can expect delivery approximately 8-12 weeks after your order is placed & deposit received. How we are regulated With effect from July 1st 2013 there are changes being made to the European cosmetics legislation. You can read the full details here; cosmetics/documents/index_en.htm however, please find a brief overview of how these changes impact you. In accordance with the new legislation, ALL cosmetic and toiletries brands will need to be registered with the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) this is a European database and will hold the (PIF) Product Information File. This includes; formulations, product images, packaging and labelling information, batch no s, details of where the products are sold and relevant safety information. This applies to all products for all brands, from the biggest to smallest and as the brand owner of your range you are legally responsible for ensuring this happens. As we have invested in the PIF for all of our products we will take the role of responsible person and enter all your information onto the portal a legal requirement. This is a huge task and unfortunately we have to charge a small fee to your costs to cover your range. In short, registering your products on the CPNP will mean that if the competent authorities (trading standards) get in touch with you, you can direct them back to us in the knowledge that your products and the selling of the products comply with the law, throughout the EU and its member states.

They are there to reflect the experience your customer has had Do you have an effective sales and marketing plan in place to support sales? Are you selling online as well as offline? Use your products in a professional capacity either for amenities, public areas and/or treatments Get your staff to love your products as much as you. If you do they ll be able to spread the word Use products as effective marketing tools, a promotional gift or built into packages. This is a great way to get your message out there. Visual Merchandising Product display and point of sales, or to give it its proper title Visual Merchandising, is effectively how you attract the eye of your customers to encourage them to buy your goods. You may think that as a smaller business this doesn t apply to you but how your customers see your products is crucial to whether or not they purchase your wares. If you are considering investing in retail design it may be worth talking to us first as we work closely with a couple of retail specialists.
