The license is for grades 5 through 12. The program consists of 38 credits in English, 25 credits in Communication Studies, and 30 credits in the College of Education. The English Department also offers courses for the 5 8 Communication Arts and Literature add on license. All of the courses in this program are offered online as well as on campus. Please see the College of Education page Additions to Current License for information about the complete program. Admission Requirements: Admission to the major is granted by the Department. ENG 101: Composition must be completed before admission to the major. Advising: You are expected to meet with your advisor on a regular basis to ensure courses are taken in an order that will lead to successful completion of the degree.
