The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 13:12-13 (NIV) Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 2 Corinthians 1:20-21 (NIV) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. Galatians 2:20 (NIV) I have been crucified with Christ & I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me & gave himself for me. Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind & straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

3 MOTHER S DAY MAY 8, 2016 MOTHER S DAY MAY 8, 2016 GETTING UNSTUCK IN MY FAMILY And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. Romans 12:1-2 The Key to Getting Unstuck in My Family: GIVE GOD FIRST PLACE IN MY FAMILY! Definition of UnStuck: Moving forward in my life because I am willing to give God complete control. HOW TO GIVE GOD FIRST PLACE IN MY FAMILY 1. FOCUS MY FAMILY DAILY WITH PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY. Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. 1 Chronicles 16:11 Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won t collapse because it is built on bedrock. Matthew 7:24-25 The family that prays together stays together! 2. INVOLVE MY FAMILY IN MY CHURCH. Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. Proverbs 22:6 TWO ELEMENTS: WORSHIP & SERVICE! Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Psalm 127:1 The family that serves together stays together! 3. READILY FORGIVE MY FAMILY. Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ. Ephesians 4:32 Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. Proverbs 17:9 Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible. Romans 12:18 The family that forgives together (each other) stays together! 4. SCHEDULE FAMILY CELEBRATIONS TOGETHER. We are now going to Bethel, where I will build an altar to the God who answered my prayers when I was in distress. He has stayed with me wherever I have gone. Genesis 35:3 Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God will give you. Exodus 20:12 The family that celebrates together stays together! 5. TRUST GOD WITH MY FAMILY. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 Memory Verse: Choose today whom you will serve but as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15 The family that trusts God together stays together! MY NEXT STEP TODAY IS TO Memorize or meditate on Joshua 24:15 & Ephesians 4:32 this week Follow Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord I am making a first time decision to follow Jesus Get UNSTUCK in my family by deciding today to give God FIRST PLACE in my family.
