SUPREME Optical Fiber cables are recognised throughout the world as being of the very highest of quality. Our optical fiber cables are processed with skill and expertise using advanced manufacturing and test equipments, enabling us to manufacture a complete range of products, comprise of loose tube and tightbuffer Optical Fiber Cables. Loose tube To protect the fibre from the external forces, mechanical and optical degradation, we encapsulates the fibres within a loose tube. We produces a smooth internal and external surfaces with high Young's Modulus throught a careful manufacture of a tube. Fibers in a tube can be freely move and take a position of minimum strain. Under all conditions the fiber can freely move to the shortest possible path and remain strain free. The loose tubes contain either a thixotropic filling gel or water swellable compound as cushions the fibers and resists water to entering into the fibers. The loose tubes are stranded surrounding a central strength member, with an overall protective. This central member which can be Fibers Reinforced Platic (FRP) with Polyethylene sheath or round steel wire offers a high modulus giving an excellent strength to support during pulling operations as well as permanently installed position and a very low creep rate. Both tubes and fibers are individually colour coded for easy identification. Tightbuffered fiber Tightbuffered Optical Fiber cable are implemented mostly in indoor environment. The cable core is made by stranding several optical elements around a central strength member. Each optical element is constructed by pulling a tightbuffered fiber covered with mechanical reinforcement such as aramid yarns into a thermoplastic tube. The cable core is then covered with Poly Vinyl Chlorida (PVC) which is a flame resistant material. We have a wide range of standard products and custom designs. Other designs to satisfy the specific application can be made available on request. Although loose tube optical fiber cables are mostly used for outdoor installations including aerial, duct and direct buried applications, this cable can also be design for indoor applications with PVC outer jacket with various fire ratings to meet standard flammability requirements.

4 CONFIGURATION Fiber Selection Fiber Colouring Applying colour to identify fibers. Fibers Available in fiber counts from to wide variety of attenuation and bandwidth in both single mode and multi mode fibers. Buffer Loose Tube Configuration Fiber Encapsulation Tubing of fibers thixotropic filling gel. Stranding Stranding around central strength member and adding the peripheral strength member ( aramid yarn ), water blocking tape,laminated aluminum polyethelene tape as required. Tubes Sheathing The outer sheath is chosen to meet the specific application. The sheath of the duct cable is applied directly to the core. For aerial applications a round steel messenger wire is added. Additional armour with outer sheath is applied for direct buried application. Elements can be either loose tubes or Polyethylene filler rods, depending on fibres count. Coloured thermal plastic tube containing, or fibres with water swellable compound or thixotropic gel filled. The tube are covered with a flooding compound and water swellable tape. Features of Optical Fiber Cable Wide bandwith. Suitable for high speed, wide band, large capacity telecommunication lines. It can transmit large amounts of information and have excellent characteristics such as low loss and wide bandwith. Freedom from Electromagnetic Interference. Optical fibers are not affected by strong electromagnetic interference originating from power cables, railway and radio waves. They do not emit unwanted radiation and crosstalk between fibres exists. Small diameter and light weight. Multi fiber optical cables have a small diameter and are light weight and flexible. Optical Fiber Cable are permit effective utilization of spaces and can also be applicable to long distance use are easier to handle and install than conventional metal cables. Strong to withstand the normal installation forces of strain, crush, bend and twist. Optical fiber cables can be used to great advantage in all fields of telecommunication, including telecommunication data transmission and control systems in buildings, factories and power station, signal transmission system between computers, ITV/CATV signal transmission currents, telecommunication control systems in electric power stations and along railway, control and alarms systems, chemical plants and as wiring aircrafts, automobiles, ships and trains. High quality optical fiber provides good transmission performance. Accurate fiber excess length control ensures excellent mechanical and temperature performance. Special gel filled loose tube provides perfect optical fiber protection.
