3 Liberty Specialty Markets SIXTEEN TOPBREWER S INSTALLED IN LIBERTY SPECIALTY MARKETS NEW WALKIE TALKIE OFFICE TO ENCOURAGE COLLABORATION Liberty Specialty Markets have moved into the iconic Walkie Talkie building, 20 Fenchurch Street, and have selected Scanomat s TopBrewer app-controlled premium coffee solution as the standard coffee and water solution for all staff refreshment areas and the stunning Broker Lounge. The project, which took 18 months from planning to completion, merges several London offices into one prime City of London headquarters. The office interior was designed by Pringle Brandon Perkins + Will, who are well established as one of the most successful design firms in the world. The workspace provides a mix of contemporary open plan office space and a separate Broker Lounge. Along the corridors, between the staircases, informal social areas have been designed with integrated TopBrewer beverage stations to encourage good communication and collaboration amongst employees. The kitchen areas that facilitate the open plan offices have been kept minimalistic and simple with high gloss white units. The TopBrewer perfectly complements the sleek style with its discreet under-counter design and aesthetically stunning swan neck tap. The Broker Lounge is a truly exceptional, premium space with a blend of informal meeting areas and private high backed orange chairs which are perfectly positioned to look out across the River Thames and beyond. Within this space is a glass housed refreshment area which boasts two TopBrewer s, allowing visitors to customise their drinks using the TopBrewer app installed on the integrated ipads. Tricon Foodservice Consultants introduced the TopBrewer concept to Liberty Specialty Markets. Stephen Wilkinson, Head of Management Services at Tricon commented, Liberty were looking for a machine that would provide a practical solution to dispensing both hot drinks and water but which also had a WOW factor. The TopBrewer appeared to fit this profile perfectly but Liberty wanted to ensure that the product could deliver quality and value as well as style and practicality. Tricon worked with Liberty through an extensive process of consumer testing and financial modelling before the decision was taken to install the TopBrewer in all the refreshment points as well as the Broker Lounge. 4 QBE Insurance Group QBE INSURANCE GROUP INVEST IN 18 TOPBREWERS AND 2 TOPWATERS FOR MAJOR OFFICE REFURBISHMENT One of the world s leading insurance providers, QBE Insurance Group, have selected Scanomat s TopBrewer and TopWater for their newly refurbished offices at Plantation Place, Fenchurch Street. The stylish app-controlled bean-to-cup coffee and water taps will be the standard beverage solution for all staff and visitor refreshment points. The office is being designed by Pringle Brandon Perkins + Will, who are one of the most successful and established design firms in the world. 5 Leading Specialty Insurance Firm ANOTHER LEADING INSURANCE FIRM PICKS DISRUPTIVE TOPBREWER COFFEE MACHINE FOR NEW OFFICE Another leading specialty insurance firm has chosen to install Scanomat s revolutionary TopBrewer and TopWater systems into their new London office. The firm have relocated to a new office in order to accommodate their rapidly expanding London team. Not wanting to move far, the insurer moved offices within their existing building to a larger office space on the first floor. Workplace Design Consultants Burtt-Jones & Brewer introduced the TopBrewer to the insurance firm. Steve Brewer, Co- Founder of Burtt-Jones & Brewer comments: I was particularly drawn to the styling of the TopBrewer product as it removes the ugly, oversized machines out of sight and leaves the unexpected. Coffee in the workplace is the gathering of people at the water-hole, and in TopBrewer s case not just any water-hole! The TopBrewer and TopWater are installed in the staff lounge which offers a fully fitted kitchen, soft seating area and high wooden benches with accompanying bar stools. Staff use the space for meetings and agile working, making the TopBrewer and TopWater perfectly situated to provide a range of beverages throughout the day. Steve adds: I love coffee, but I also love the experience I get from sourcing the beans, refining the grind, the noises and the aromas. I was sceptical of the TopBrewer at first as all this seemed to have been removed, but my concerns were quickly dispelled by Tina (Sales Director at Scanomat UK) who was not only able to make a good cup of coffee, but had a great working knowledge of the product, offering practical solutions along the way. The unique minimal design of the TopBrewer compliments the modern workspace with its clean lines and app-control technology. Steve comments: When recommending a solution for the insurance firm I had to consider the people on site and the environment we were trying to create. It was proven that the TopBrewer gave us the elegant styling and minimalist appearance we were looking for, along with a talking point for visitors.
