2 Tús an Bhóthair Lots to report since September! Our art workshops took place throughout October and the children worked very hard creating lots of artwork from life size body posters to crepe paper masterpieces and Halloween decorations. Well done to all involved and thanks to the parents for coming along and joining in our sessions. We have begun our trips to the English market, where the children will visits lots of stalls and meet a few new friends at the fish mongers! We will also be practicing hard for our upcoming Christmas concert on the 18th of December in the Scout Hall at 11 am and on Friday the 19th, Santa is coming to Togher Family Centre. Thanks to all our parents for the yummy food from around the world! 2

3 TFC Preschool We had a visit from the community Garda, Paul Hyde, who took us on a walk and demonstrated road safety. What a busy term we have had so far!! We have been out on visits as well as having people visit the preschool. Both sessions went and visited the library, with the morning group going to the city centre library and the afternoon session going to the Wilton library. The children really enjoyed this. We have also had many lovely walks and visited the local park many times. We also had a visit from the dentist. We would like to thank all the parents who took part in our food tasting day, it was a great success and the children really enjoyed this. Halloween was great fun, the children loved dressing up! We look forward to Christmas, the concert on Thursday the 18th of December at 10am and of course Santa coming to preschool. 3
