INSTALLATION DN UP DISP SEL PWR (Front ) (Rear) Av1: 2 Channels AV Input Port (9pin Din to Din Cable) Use 9pin Din to Din Cable for connection between this input and 9Pin output from Interface Box. AV2: Multi-Function Input Port (8pin Din to Din Cable) Use 8pin Din to Din Cable for connection between this input and 8Pin output from Interface Box. Please connect this Cable to have Gear functions. Notes: 1. Failure to make the proper connections / installations may result in fire or product damaged. 2. Use this product for mobile 12V Applications. 2

5 POWER (Monitor Power On/Off) Press the POWER On/Off button on remote control turns on the system. Repeat this procedure to turn the power off. DIS (Display Mode) Press this button to switch 4 type display mode: Full Mode, Normal Mode, Wide Mode, Zoom Mode. MENU(Menu Selection) Press this button to switch menu. SEL (AV1/AV2 Selection) Press this button to switch AV1 / AV2 mode. (Audio Mute) Press this button to disable audio output. Screen will display MUTE on the monitor. Press again the key to cancel mute status. OSD CLEAR Press this button to disappear OSD menu immediately. VOL +/- (Volume/Level Adjustment) 1. Adjust the volume level by pressing VOL button. 2. Under menus, press VOL button to adjust picture condition level, Left/Right Reverse, Up/Down... etc. CONT/BRI/COL/DIM/TINT/RESET/IR CH Press these buttons to select menus for picture condition adjustmenus. Notes: 1. Press VOL button to adjust picture condition level, Left/Right Reverse, Up/Down, Bright, Contrast, Color, Tint and Reset Default. 2. AV2 mirror ON/OFF adjustable only when Gear on Reverse Signal Wire (brown wire) is connected and gear is in R position. The default setting is mirror ON. Basically this input is designed for CCD camera for rear observation. Mirror ON means when gear is in reverse mode and brown wire is connected, the screen is defaulted mirror (we presume the CCD camera is normal type). If camera itself is mirrored type, then you have to set our AV2 mirror OFF in order to get a mirror image. 3. TINT Function On NTSC System Only. 4

When the power is on, the LED on monitor will light up. SEL (Menu Selector, AV1/AV2 Selection) 1. Long press this button to switch menus. The cycle is as follows. BRIGHT CONTRAST COLOR TINT DIMMER LEFT/RIGHT UP/DOWN DEFAULT 2. Short press this button to switch AV1/AV2 mode. DISP (Display Mode) Press this button to switch 4 types display mode: Full Mode, Normal Mode, Zoom Mode. UP/DN (Volume/Menu Adjustment) 1. Press UP or DN buttons to adjust the volume level. 2. Under menus, press UP or DN button to adjust picture condition level, Left/Right Reverse, Up/Down and Reset Default. 5

7 IV. SPECIAL FUNCTIONS DN UP DISP SEL PWR 2 Channels AV Input There are two Channels AV input on back of the monitor. Please make connection according to the label on Interface Box, which should be Monitor AV1 to Interface Box 9Pin output.you can apply this input to receive composite signals such as DVD, VCR,CCD Camera,etc. Reversing System AV2 input is for Reversing System. Please connect the Gear on Reverse Signal Wire (brown wire) to the positive end of the reversing light, and connect the output of the CCD camera to the VIDEO 2 input of the Interface Box. When receiving the signal, this monitor will power on automatically and display mirror image on AV2. Note: Some CCD cameras are defaulted mirror image. When using this kind of cameras, please select the AV2 mirror function to be OFF in order to get mirror image on monitor. Dimmer Control 1. This monitor has manual dimmer control function to fit interior light condition of vehicle. You can select Dimmer ON/OFF on menu. NTSC/PAL Auto Selection This monitor can detect NTSC/PAL system automatically and display the image properly. Camera Power When monitor is ON, +12V will come from monitor to CCD camera via Camera Power Wire (white wire). Note: This power can only be supplied to +12V/150m A camera in order to prevent monitor from being damaged. 6

8 V.HEADREST ASSEMBLING 1.Assembling Assemble the headrest monitor according to the following sketch. 2.Releasing Use the Release Plate to release the monitor on left/right side. 7
