2 About the Online Catalogue The Hettich Online Catalogue is a web based product information and ordering system. The guide will give you a short overview about the functions of this catalogue. It should help you to understand how the catalogue works and enable you to create your own user, log in and subsequently guide you through your first catalogue session. The Hettich Online Catalogue provides you with the following features: Product information & pricing Stock availability Order status Ordering It is accessible via the Hettich New Zealand homepage or through the direct link The easiest way to learn about how the Hettich Online Catalogue works is to follow the step by step instructions in this booklet, which will guide you from your user registration to your first online order. 2

3 Step 1 - Access the Online Catalogue Access the Online Catalogue through the Hettich New Zealand homepage or the direct link Click the Registration button. 3

4 Step 2 - Complete registration form Fill in all of the requested details in the registration form, read and agree to the data agreement and then proceed by clicking Apply. 4

5 Step 3 - Receive confirmation You will receive two confirmation s: o The first indicates that your application for the Online Catalogue has been successfully sent to Hettich. You cannot use your account just yet, but Hettich will activate your Online Catalogue account shortly. o The second indicates that your Online Catalogue account has been activated. From this moment, you are able to use your selected User name and Password to sign in to the Online Catalogue whenever required. 5

6 Step 4 - Login into account Once you have received your account confirmation via , enter your User name and Password into the login area for accessing your account. 6

7 Step 5 - Browsing for products The new Online Catalogue makes it easy to search for products, whether you are familiar with them or not. To find your first product, please use the browsing functionality of the catalogue. Select All product groups in the Product groups box (1) and proceed by clicking. Click on either the product picture or the link Product list to open e.g. the 3.1 Cup hinges group. 7

8 Step 5 - Browsing for products Since there are two possible navigation methods, use the side bar navigation on the left hand side to open the subgroup e.g. Standards Hinges. Proceed with the navigation method that suits you the most until you reach the Product list for the group path: e.g. 3.1 Cup hinges Standard Hinges Opening angle Overlay 8

9 Step 5 - Browsing for products The Product list gives you an overview about all products available for your current selection, including the most important master data like Product code, Product description, PU (Packaging unit), etc.. To get a detailed overview about e.g. product 48049, click on some of its attributes (like Product description). After you locate an overview of the product, you can easily add it to your Shopping basket by clicking the button Add to shopping basket. 9

10 Step 6 - Adding products to shopping basket Enter a quantity (e.g. 50) in the popup window and proceed by clicking OK. You have now added your first product to the shopping basket. 10

11 Step 6 - Adding products to shopping basket To open the Shopping basket, click on the button called Shopping basket. Since you have added the product before, you will find it in the Shopping basket. To order another product, use the quick order functionality of the catalogue by entering a Product code (e.g ) and a Quantity (e.g. 100) and click the button to add this product to the basket. 11

12 Step - 7 Availability check In Shopping basket, you are able to check the availability of your collection of products. Use the link Availability check to see the current status of Hettich s stock. The first possible shipping date will be shown in a popup window. 12

13 Step 8 - Online ordering To process an online order with the Online Catalogue, enter your Purchase order number and your Requested delivery date and proceed by clicking Continue. 13

14 Step 8 - Online ordering Select a delivery address and proceed by clicking Continue. Please review your order details in the following screen and send the order by clicking Order DO NOT CLICK Order FOR THIS TEST SCENARIO! 14
