3 Facts about Fruition Technology Labs Focuses on the underserved tech areas of education, disaster response and alternative energy in addition to biomedical, IT and robotics. Guides inventors through a team of mentors representing more than 20 industries and ranging from entrepreneurs, company presidents, analysts and inventors. Builds startup projects through the assistance of technical collaborators who are experts in their fields. Currently provides mentorship to 9 projects in the areas of alternative energy, bio-medical, disaster response, education, IT, water and wastewater (re-useable fracking water). Set to launch 5+ technology projects in 2015 in the areas of bio-medical, eduction, disaster response and IT. Attracts 40 attendees (and growing) to monthly Meetup functions since August 2014 focused on fostering collaboration and mentorship within the thriving Houston startup community. DezPhonics (Education): DezPhonics is an online program that helps beginning readers, English as a Second Language (ESL) students and people diagnosed with dyslexia develop and improve their reading skills at their individual levels. Simplified Neuroscience (Bio-medical): Simplified Neuroscience is a service and consulting company focused on providing doctors, patients with neurological injuries, researchers, hospitals and personal injury lawyers the best brain-mapping data, technology and services available. Feed Sense (Information Technology): Feed Sense is a tablet and online platform that helps retailers, restaurants and other customer-oriented businesses collect and analyze customer sentiment to improve their business processes. 3
