Attach additional information that may be required. 3. Attach a recent photograph. 4. Complete and attach proof of your CLE hours from the State Bar of Texas. THIS APPLICATION MUST BE FILED WITH TRACYE SPARKS IN THE INDIGENT DEFENSE OFFICE AT THE COLLIN COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 2100 BLOOMDALE ROAD, SUITE 20210, MCKINNEY, TEXAS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION: 1) Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas 2) Five years of criminal law experience (with one year in Collin County) 3) Trying CAC cases for at least three years 4) Maintain an office in Collin County with either a fax or access 5) Ten hours per year of CLE in criminal law, eight of the hours must be in sex crimes 6) Six jury trials as lead counsel for felony and six jury trials for CAC as lead counsel Initial court appointed CAC attorney applications are due by May 31, Applications will be reviewed at the Judges meeting on June 7, All applications received after the initial deadline will be reviewed at the monthly judges meeting.
