1 Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: First and Second Weeks Day 1 Week 1 (February 25 th March 3 rd ) Our Lady of Lourdes, Immaculate Virgin, pray for us. My trust in your power is unshakable. You can obtain all from your Divine Son. You, who kindly accepted to come down to earth to bring us the graces of this same Son, obtain for us the grace to merit them. Hail, Wonder of the Most High, we praise you for your glorious privileges, and joyfully repeat a thousand times: She is Immaculate, Our Lady of Lourdes, who graciously accepted to visit us! Queen of Virgins, pray for us. Day 2 Week 2 (March 4 th - 10 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, who chose a poor weak child to speak for you, pray for us. You chose to reveal yourself to us through a child who knew nothing of the things of this world. Despite all the favors you showered on her, Bernadette remained innocent and humble, because you promised her happiness not in this world but in the next. Obtain for us humility of heart and simplification in spirit, so that in our turn, we may receive your favors. Virgin most faithful, pray for us.

2 Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: Third and Fourth Weeks Day 3 Week 3 (March 11 th 17 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, blessed in your eighteen apparitions, pray for us. You chose to appear in the grotto of Massabielle to recommend to us to pray and do penance and you came to show us your motherly goodness. Hear and answer our humble prayers today, if this be for the glory of your Divine Son and the salvation of our souls. Mother of Good Counsel, pray for us. Day 4 Week 4 (March 18 th 24 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, to whom Jesus can refuse nothing, pray for us. You have power over your Divine Son's Heart. Prevail over Him to be favorable to us. Ask, Heavenly Queen, and you will be heard. See our misery and our need, and have pity on us, O Mother of Goodness! Bestow generously the treasures of heaven on those who pray before your altar. Virgin Most Powerful, pray for us. O Mother of Jesus, and my Mother, to hear my prayers and to obtain for me the favors (name yours) which I desire. Amen. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

3 Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: Fifth and Sixth Weeks Day 5 Week 5 (March 25 th 31 st ) Our Lady of Lourdes, whose name has never been invoked in vain, pray for us. It has never been known that anyone called on you in vain. Those in distress, the unhappy, all who suffer: broken-hearted, wounded souls, and sick bodies yearn for your loving care, most kind Virgin! If you so wish, no one will be left forsaken or leave without feeling the effect of your powerful intercession. If we imitate your virtues, you will intercede for us. Help of Christians, pray for us. Day 6 Week 6 (April 1 st 7 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, you who cure the sick, pray for us. You who heal bodies and even more, heal souls, be favorable once again to our fervent prayers. Be the hope of our dear sick. May their confidence in you be rewarded. Merciful Virgin, whose very name recalls wonderful cures, show us that you are once again our hope. Intercede for us and for our dear ones, Our Lady of Lourdes. Help of the sick, pray for us.

4 Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: Seventh and Eighth Weeks Day 7 Week 7 (April 8 th 14 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, you who pray for sinners; pray for us! You who wept over our sins! Grant us true repentance for our faults. Help us to detest all that can wound the Heart of your Divine Son. Make our contrition perfect by a sincere resolution not to offend Him again. Give us that Christian force which does not hesitate before any sacrifice, in order to merit forgiveness of sins and the grace not to fall again. Refuge of sinners, pray for us. Day 8 Week 8 ( April 15 th 21 st ) Our Lady of Lourdes, support of the Holy Church; pray for us. Protect the Holy Father, and fill him with the light of the Holy Spirit. May we always have a filial love for him. May we be faithful to his voice; and may those who have gone astray come back to the Church to console the heart of our beloved Pontiff. Bless all priests, especially all those who make you known and loved. Queen of the Apostles, pray for us.

5 Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: Ninth Week Day 9 Week 9 ( April 22 nd 28 th ) Our Lady of Lourdes, advocate of the holy souls in purgatory; pray for us. Do not forget the children of the Church Militant, nor those of the Church Suffering. Give them rest, light and peace. The Church, our Mother, asks this each day in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Hear their cry for help, and answer the prayers of those who pray to you for them. We wish to expiate the souls of our relatives: father, mother, husband, wife, and friends. For these dear departed, grant grace and mercy so that they may sing your praises in heaven. Comfort of the afflicted, pray for us.
