2 The number one Customer choice Lola are proud to introduce the B12/80 LMP2 cost capped car. Once again Lola are the first to introduce a true cost capped car which utilises the proven Lola endurance sports car product while also providing a technology ready package. A variety of production engines are available to the customer. Current and future Lola teams will be offered access to the very highly regarded Lola customer support centre. This will include full aero maps, trackside spares supply in the LMS and Le Mans 24 Hours, access to engineers, 7-post test rig and wind tunnel model use if required. The record of Lola s current generation of sports cars underscores the company s skill in creating the correct package for endurance racing. Results in LMP1 and LMP2 on both sides of the Atlantic have confirmed Lola as the fastest and most reliable customer chassis. 2
3 2012 Lola cost capped LMP2 Coupe Chassis Lola one-piece construction carbon composite monocoque chassis/survival cell Monocoque certified to all ACO and FIA structural and crash standards through 2012 and is eligible until 2015 Adjustable pedal box and steering wheel/column for driver safety and comfort Rack-and-pinion type steering with Kyaba power assist system as standard Aerodynamics Intensive wind tunnel testing complemented by upgraded F1-standard CFD cluster Multiple body configurations offering wide range of low-drag/high-downforce set-ups Ride height sensitivity minimised in all aerodynamic configurations Fixed front diffuser geometry with front downforce adjusted via dive-plane options All body panels of lightweight pre-preg composite construction Quick-release nose to limit damage and ease replacement during pit stop Suspension Wishbones and uprights made from cast aluminium Suspension geometry can be varied via multiple pick-up points on tub and gearbox casing Pushrod/rocker-activated coil spring/adjustable damper units all round Front and rear suspension designed to accommodate any damper and/or third-spring system Quick-change anti-roll bars front and rear with adjustable ride height, camber, and toe Dampers are a very high spec 4 way adjustable Multimatic/Dynamic Brake System Hitco carbon discs and pads with AP Racing six-piston aluminium calipers all round 380 mm diameter ventilated carbon discs front and rear 3

New engine suppliers to be confirmed Removable Rear Bodywork Lola have designed and developed a detachable rear end bodywork section that includes the rear wing and legalising panels. This has been proven to be a major time saving initiative for teams in racing situations. Cooling System Air to water cooling system included Charge-air intercooler with ducting supplied for turbo engine installations Data Logging Lola supply the car with Motec data logger and dash with sensors. 4

Six forward speeds plus reverse with torque input capacity in excess of 800 Nm Cast aluminium casing with bellhousing adaptor to match selected engine Casing expressly designed to suit high underbody diffuser tunnels required by LMP rules Integrated gearbox oil cooling system including air/oil heat exchanger Alternator drive can be mounted on top of bellhousing if required Electrical System All electrics mounted directly to monocoque for reliability, access, and crash protection DMS RT40 12-volt heavy-duty battery for engine starts plus jump battery/recharger plug Full lighting equipment including dual headlamps and rear brake lights, indicators, rain lights and electrically-operated rear view mirrors new apex lighting system Redundant Systems Provision for back-up components to reduce time lost to damage or mechanical issues Space for cable gearshift, second starter, back-up fuel pump, and reserve battery Design facilitates easy servicing access (e.g. alternator) where back-up not possible 5

This model has raced successfully in 2011, scoring a class win at Sebring and several podiums in the ILMC and LMS.
