At Dartmoor Zoo, we strive to make sure your children..(and adults alike) have a fantastic and fun filled birthday party of which includes; Zoo admission Designated party host Zoo tour Hands on animal experience Lunch* Discounted entry for additional adults Free adult admissions** Personalised birthday card *Lunch provided for the children of the party only, any adults wanting lunch will need to order this from the Jaguar restaurant. Additional children not participating in the party, unfortunately will also be liable to pay for their lunch in the Jaguar restaurant. **Free adult admissions are dependent on the birthday package booked, and not applicable with any other offer.

3 For those energy packed cheeky cubs aged 2-4 years old, this package will be sure to fulfil their entertainment and interactive needs. Arts & Crafts Our materials combined with your children's creativity will be likely to produce fascinating creations ideally used as a memorabilia of their great day at Dartmoor Zoo. Mini Zoo tour- Visit some of our wonderful collection of animals in the Park guided by your own designated party host equipped with a variety of different animal facts and stories. Balloon Animals- Join your party host for some balloon animal fun! Watch a balloon transform into an animal before your very eyes. The best bit you get to take them home!!

4 Watch the otter feed- These cute little critters are louder than they seem! Let's see if your little ones can follow their loud hunger calls to watch them feed and learn more about these intelligent animals. One of the most favourite animals to see, and sure to be an entertaining activity not to be missed. 4 free adults- We understand how scary it is to let your little ones explore independently without you by their sides. So we've given 4 adults free admission for this package, to ensure your peace of mind.

5 Our Meerkat's are very inquisitive little creatures, much like your little ones, making this package ideally suited for children aged 5-8 years old. We've carefully chosen the correct balance of educational and practical hands on activities to suit this age range perfectly. Meerkat Feed- Help feed our Meerkats their breakfast and hear all about their intriguing family life. Fun, hands on and educational...simples. Mini close encounters This 30 minute session is more than enough time to handle and learn about our cold blooded buddies. Are your curious bunch brave enough to hold our Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches?

6 Big cat feed- Ever seen a big cat feed? Is it really that different to your pet cat? Watch the tigers tremendous muscle power as they leap up onto tiger rock to retrieve their meat, delicately licking their prized possession and find out why they are very similar to your pet cat. Personalised birthday cake * - Baked by the wonderful Simply Creative Cakes', this is sure to make your little ones lick their lips with anticipation. With the choice of either a Lion, Tiger or Leopard as a design, both boys and girls will enjoy this eye catching edible treat. 2 free adults.- This package includes the free admission of 2 adults. Any additional adults to be charged at the discounted rate of 7.95.

7 Are your children explorers at heart? Passionate about animals? This package is perfect for children aged 9-15 years old. A day packed full of both educational and practical activities, your children will be set in becoming fully fledged Zoo explorers. Otter feed- As a zoo explorer, it will be their duty to expand their knowledge of animal facts and information. What better way to learn about our beloved otters than taking part in their morning feed. Close encounters- Get up close and personal with a wide range of our reptile collection. Learn all about these weird and fascinating critters and see how brave your group really are. Feeling fearless? Then a cuddle with our sly old friend the snake will hit the spot.

8 Big cat tour- Can you spot the elusive Sovereign? How many tigers can you find? Explore the South West' largest collection of big cats, guided by your very own personal party host full of fascinating facts and stories. Listen out for Josie the lioness's unique party trick and how to identify the real Stripe from a group of stripes. Big cat feed- Test out your groups animal knowledge and see if you can identify what we're feeding our hungry big cats. Watch how they prowl their surroundings for their tasty treats. Who gets the bigger piece? What kind of feed is it? This activity is a fantastic photo opportunity, so make sure to get some great snaps which you can send through to us.

9 Personalised birthday cake- It's not just a cake...its a DZP personalised birthday cake. Choose between the mighty Tiger, Lion or Leopard for a really sweet treat. * 2 free adults- Although your little zoo explorers are gearing up and raring to investigate their adventure on their lonesome, we've decided to give 2 adults free admission to attend this event so they too can also join in on the fun. Any additional adults not wanting to miss out on the fun times will be charged at a discounted rate of 7.95 pp. *Birthday cakes must be ordered with 1 weeks advance notice. Any special dietary requirements should be made known as soon as possible. Further terms and conditions detailed on page 13.

10 Refuel in the Jaguar Restaurant with some tasty meals and refreshing drinks! The children's meals are included in the package, so have a look at our lip smacking Kids Menu to see what we offer. 13 Bookings should made be at least a week in advance, and secured with a 50% deposit 1 week prior to the event. Feeds are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis and to animal welfare considerations. Only the birthday boy or girl will be able to feed the animals. Refunds are not granted in the very unlikely event that a feed may not be possible due to animal welfare issues. An entry ticket will be issued as compensation in this case. For adequate supervision, we recommend a minimum ratio of two adults to six children. Parties may be cancelled due to severe weather or due to other safety breaching causes. In such cases a full refund will be granted. Minimum booking of 6 children and a maximum of 15 children. Bookings for less than 6 children will be charged the minimum booking rate. Children who are attending the party but not participating will be charged based on our standard admission rate. Please Note: Our Education Team have a very busy schedule of public talks and other commitments throughout the day and must keep to a strict timetable. For this reason, animal feeds, Close Encounters sessions and tours must begin at the time agreed when you book.
