1 Jessica's English Sentences Dolch K-3 Sentences Vocabulary and Grammar By Jessica E. Riggs Students should master at least ten of the sentences per day, ideally, and be able to write them at once with no errors of any kind when the teacher reads them (no more than two times each ) for dictation. Students should also be able to make similar--but different--novel sentences by making substitutions on the nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. This pack of materials is built entirely from the Dolch Sight vocabulary List-- Primary Nouns, Kindergarden, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third Grade words. Summary of the format: Sentences 1-40 = Words from the Primary Nouns and Pre-Primer lists in BOLD. All other words in sentences 1-40 are from the same two lists and only those lists = Words from the Primer list in BOLD, plus other words from the preceding two lists =Words from the First Grade list in BOLD, plus other words from the preceding lists = Words from the Second Grade list in BOLD, plus other words from the preceding lists = Words from the Third Grade list in BOLD, plus other words from the preceding lists.
