(Representatives EVANKOVICH, CUTLER, SACCONE and others) -- Insurance, June 28, This bill amends the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Act to provide qualified immunity to a health care provider who delivers emergency health care services. 3

SENATE An Act amending the act of March 20, 2002 (P.L.154, No.13), known as the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare) Act, further providing for punitive damages; providing for punitive damages study; and imposing duties on the Insurance Commissioner. (Representatives SCHEMEL, McGINNIS, DAVIS and others) -- Local Government, July 12, This bill changes the requirement to enter into an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement from an ordinance to a resolution to make entering into these agreements easier An Act amending the act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103, No.69), known as The Second Class Township Code, further providing for intergovernmental cooperation. (Representative SCHEMEL) -- Local Government, July 12, This bill amends the Second Class Township Code to remove the requirement for an ordinance in order to enter in and Intergovernmental Cooperation Provision to allow them to use resolutions An Act amending Title 11 (Cities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for municipal authorities and cooperation with other political subdivisions. (Representative SCHEMEL) -- Local Government, July 12, This bill amends the Third Class City Code to remove the requirement for an ordinance in order to enter into an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement so that a city can use a resolution.
