1 7 th Grade World Geography Curriculum Map Introduction / 2 weeks Geographers show information on maps using tools such as keys, compass rose, scales, etc. Geographers use a variety of maps to represent the world Geographers use the 5 themes to examine the world Geographers examine different aspects of culture and how they influence each other around the globe. Extreme weather occurs in many places and people adapt to it in many ways. There is debate about how the resources and rainforests of Latin America should be used and preserved.
