2 Addendum Item 1. Revise scope of Hale 1 Work to delete replacement of valves, per below. (pg. 15 of Invitation to Bid) Piping and valves in check valve vault were replaced in 2014 and are to be reused. Hale 1, 3440 Hale Lane, Island Lake Rehabilitate steel wet well, modify pumping equipment and convert to a front rail system, replace piping, replace valves and controls and add fall protection grates Addendum Item 2 Section 1.0 Hale 1 Lift Station Add to end of item 1.11, Bidders may place a 6 concrete fillet in bottom of wet well to prevent water intrusion and facilitate liner installation if necessary Provide and install a liner system, such as Spectra Shield or equal, to restore structural integrity and protect against future corrosion. Provide surface preparation via cleaning, sandblasting etc., per liner manufactures requirements. Bidders may place a 6 concrete fillet in bottom of wet well to prevent water intrusion and facilitate liner installation if necessary. Addendum Item Revise to read: replace existing cathodic protection system as shown on Hale 1 Drawing #3 (page 44 or bid package), with two (2) 17 pound Magnesium anode bags connected to wet well. Addendum Item Provide by-pass pumping as required and assure that sewer service is not disrupted within the service area. Hale #1 has 3 incoming lines, only one of which can be blocked at the upstream manhole the other two lines have services on them between the upstream manhole and the lift station. Approximate daily flows into Hale 1 are listed below: Hale 1 daily flow 77,000 gallons /day North MH #B8NE34 gpd West MH #B8NE24 gpd South MH #B8NE37 gpd Pump Controls Addendum Item Include an APPLETON ADR1034RS 100 AMP 3W 4P RECEPTACLE that MATES W/ ACP1034CD pin connector to allow for the connection of a portable generator. Provide and install a manual transfer switch for selection of normal (Com Ed) or standby power. In the event that the generator option is selected, the manual transfer switch will be deducted in favor of the ATS to be provided with the generator. 3 Addendum Item 6 Revised Station Monitor 1.39 Provide a new integrated Isco Model 4501 Pump Station Monitor. Provide a new integrated Grundfos Model CU 362 Station Controller (PN ), CU 362 Battery Backup (PN ), IO 351 for CU 362 (PN ) along with a Grundfos pressure transducer with cable, (PN ) and Grundfos level switch with cable (PN ) Addendum Item 7 Existing control panel concrete pad may be reused for new control panel. Section 2.0 Hale 2 Lift Station Addendum Item Provide by-pass pumping as required and assure that sewer service is not disrupted within the service area. Hale 2 has 2 incoming lines, neither of which can be blocked at the upstream manhole due to service lines connections between that manhole and the lift station. Approximate daily flows are listed below. 4 Section 3.0 Waterford Lift Station Addendum Item 13 Location: Waterford and Newport Drive, Island Lake, IL 3.19 Provide by-pass pumping as required and assure that sewer service is not disrupted within the service area. Waterford has 3 incoming lines, two of which can be blocked at the upstream manhole, with one line having service connections between the upstream manhole and the lift station. Approximate daily flows are listed below. Waterford daily flow 169,000 gallons/day North MH #C8NW32 gpd West MH #C8NW45 gpd East MH #C8NW37 gpd Section 4.0 Waters Edge Lift Station Addendum Item Provide by-pass pumping as required and assure that sewer service is not disrupted within the service area. Section 5.0 Burr Oak Lift Station Addendum Item Provide by-pass pumping as required and assure that sewer service is not disrupted within the service area.
