4 OIL ONLY SORBENTS Pads & Rolls Oil absorbents are products designed to absorb only oil-based liquids without absorbing water. They are made of polypropylene and they can achieve absorbency measuring up to 25 times their weight. They can be used either on the ground or in aquatic places. Non-bonded absorbents are manufactured using the Melt blown method. They are the least costly of all, with good absorbency, but not suitable for heavy applications.
