Citron vodka is shaken with Cointreau, cranberry juice, lime juice, finished with orange zest. Daiquiri 22 Jennings Cox, an American mining engineer who was working at a copper mine near Santiago, created this cocktail. The drink came about when he ran out of Gin whilst entertaining American guests so he substituted it for rum adding lime and sugar to soften the drink. Rum, Cointreau, fresh lime wedge and sugar syrup. Variations Available: Frozen or straight up -strawberry, mango and passionfruit. Negroni 22 This bitters drink is the ultimate Italian aperitif. Taste: A bone sweet dry Manhattan for those with dry palates. Mojito 25 Mount gay rum, fresh mint, lime wedges, and homemade brown sugar, topped with soda. The classic Cuban cocktail as we know was created in Havana in the 1900 s. It is a favorite of Ernest Hemingway, which traces back all the way to the 16th century. Taste: The entire flavor of the mojito but without unattractive mint leaves trapped in crushed ice. This only works when fresh, cold crushed ice is used. Otherwise, the drinks will be overly diluted. Variations available: passionfruit, lychee, mango, strawberry. Old Fashioned 22 A true Cocktail in the old fashioned meaning of the word Designed to soften the alcoholic bite while bringing the best out of a quality Bourbon. Slowly stirred with sugar, angostura bitters, orange zest and ice. Singapore Sling 25 Gin, Peter Heering, Cointreau, DOM, pineapple, lime, Grenadine and a dash of angostura bitters. The classic, developed in 1914 by Ngiam Tong Boon, head bartender at the old Raffles Hotel in Singapore, The original recipe is still displayed at the Raffles Hotel Museum.
