New and mandatory for bare stands: A certificate of commitment to restore your space to its original condition is to be filled out and validated in your Exhibitor Area before stand set-up. Upon reception of your commitment certificate, the company DECO PLUS will notify you of its approval of your stand design. Stand security The organizer of SILMO ensures the general security of the exhibition in the best conditions, but cannot provide for the individual guarding of stands. This is an obligation to provide means, and not to achieve results. Exhibitors who intend to have their stands specifically guarded (this is strongly advised) should inform the Organizer and give the names of the persons who will be present on the stand, and the name of the security company. The exhibitor is responsible for his stand and must take all necessary measures to protect his equipment and remove it in the evening when the exhibition closes, if he does not provide for special guarding. Stand storerooms are not secured premises. As car parks are not guarded, it is preferable not to leave any valuable items inside vehicles, and to place objects likely to be stolen out of sight.! There are important risks of theft during the Set-up and Dismantling periods: Keep all equipment and items likely to be stolen out of sight (e.g. plasma screens, computers, personal effects). To be on the safe side, it is strongly recommended that you watch closely over your stand and ensure that someone is always present until dismantling is completed. This presence is your only safeguard against theft. DISMANTLING Moving out Stand removal can begin from Sunday, October 7th, 2012 at 7:00 pm. 20 Services (suite) CLEARANCE FOR EQUIPMENT ORIGINATING FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES (non-eec countries) During the exhibition SILMO, the premises of the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre are entitled to be governed by the temporary importation regulations under customs surveillance. Temporary importation begins on the day when the equipment arrives within the exhibition's precincts and ends thirty days after the exhibition closure. Foreign goods must be submitted for inspection to the Customs before being placed on the exhibitors' stands. COMMON CUSTOMS TARIFF Arrival of goods: Goods must be presented to the Customs under cover of one of the following documents: A) TIR carnet (International Road Transit) For vehicles coming directly from abroad where goods have been checked and sealed by the Customs of the country of origin. It is reminded that carriers travelling under cover of a TIR carnet covering various goods, only part of which is intended for the show, must take all necessary measures to ensure that the exhibition's customs office is their last unloading point. When arriving at the customs office, TIR vehicles must therefore only contain goods which are intended to be exhibited within the exhibition precincts. No dispensation shall be granted. B) Transit Declaration Issued by Customs at either land, sea or airport frontiers when the goods went through such frontiers.. C) International Waybill D) Transit Document Documents to be provided together with documents a, b, c and d: Number CMR waybill (only with TIR carnet) 3 Detailed packing list for each package (gross weight and net weight) drawn up by the consignor 5 Proforma invoice in French including unit values 6 Machine description leaflets 2 TEMPORARY IMPORTATION (goods from third countries) The above mentioned documents cannot in any way serve as a substitute for the declaration for temporary import. On their arrival at the Exhibition's Customs office, goods must be immediately declared for temporary import via a customs clearance agent. After the declaration has been registered, the goods will be checked by the Customs. Upon completion of the above procedures, the goods will then be allowed to be delivered to the exhibitor's stand. During the exhibition, goods must be presented on the stand at any request from the Customs. SILMO du 04 au 07 octobre 2012 Paris Nord Villepinte 20

21 Services (suite) GOODS EXIT : At the end of the exhibition no foreign goods from third countries may leave the exhibition precincts unless one of the following declarations has been previously submitted to the Customs via a customs clearance agent. Once the goods have been registered, checked and sealed, this declaration will cover their transport. A) For re-exportation : The following documents must be submitted for the exit visa: Declarations EX 3 T1. B) For transit : To a bonded warehouse where the goods will be placed under permanent customs control: Visa issued by an international freight forwarder C) For the sale and supply to consumers of goods firmly purchased by an importer residing in the French metropolitan customs territory: depending on individual cases, either declaration EU 4 or declaration IM 4. Foreign goods which have been exempted from duties for temporary import and which remain in the French metropolitan territory to be supplied for embassies' consumption must be declared to the Customs to pay the applicable duties and taxes. Only the above mentioned documents can allow the Customs to terminate the temporary importation procedure. In the event of non termination either partial or total of the temporary importation, legal action would be taken against exhibitors or customs clearance agents who would be guilty of abstraction of bonded goods. ATA CARNET PROCEDURE FOR EXHIBITIONS (excluding foodstuffs) Even after it has been endorsed at the EU frontiers, the ATA carnet must be presented to the Customs at the exhibition centre. It can be used for goods intended to be displayed or used at an exhibition. The advantage of this international document is that it can be used in place of national documents. Under the transit procedure goods can be transported from the frontier Customs to the competent Customs office under cover of a transit voucher of the ATA carnet. On arrival of the goods at their destination, the Customs discharge the transit voucher and endorse the goods on the basis of an entry voucher. At the end of the exhibition, goods are re-exported using a second transit voucher. It is therefore not necessary to make the usual warehouse entry and re-export declarations. However, in order to be validly used in the French customs territory the ATA carnet must include: o 1 importation voucher; o 1 re-exportation voucher; o 2 transit vouchers for re-exportation (one remains at the exhibition's customs office, the other serves as accompanying document). It should be noted that the deadline for re-exportation is usually one month after the exhibition closure, and it shall not exceed the expiry date of the ATA carnet. The deadline will be specified by the Customs on the entry voucher and on the corresponding counterfoil. On the other hand, consignment sale will not be strictly excluded, on the understanding that, after a declaration has been made using COM 5, IM 4 or EU 4 forms and goods have been presented to the Customs, the goods sold on the domestic market can be used for consumption in the same conditions as if they were covered by national documents. SILMO du 04 au 07 octobre 2012 Paris Nord Villepinte 21

22 Services (suite) Inventory of fixtures for your stand space When the stand set-up and dismantling are completed and when the space is cleared of all constituent parts (waste materials, rubbish), SILMO will issue a space vacation certificate upon request of the exhibitor or his decorator to the Exhibition Management. This certificate exempts the exhibitor from any liability for damage to the space and rented items after he has vacated the stand space. This certificate must be issued by Monday, October 9th, 2012 at 12:00 am at the latest. Accommodation Get special rates for your hotel room reservations during the exhibition from the central hotel booking agency WIP. 30 General regulations for trade fairs and exhibitions in France CHAPTER 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS 01.01These regulations are of a general nature and apply to all commercial events organised by members of the Federation. All events listed in article R762-4 of the Commercial Code shall be qualified as commercial events. Each commercial event is independent from previous or subsequent sessions: it is a unique event defined by a name, venue, date and presentation of the offer made to the public usually known as the schedule». Where necessary, these regulations are supplemented by the particular regulations for each event or by an exhibitor guide or handbook. Particular regulations means the specific provisions applicable to the said event, thus supplementing the general regulations for commercial event. On no account may the particular regulations contradict the general regulations. Where necessary they may be supplemented by an exhibitor guide or handbook. Exhibitor guide or handbook means the document provided, sent or made available on the Internet by the organiser at the time of the exhibitor s application to participate, containing information relating to the event, the rules and regulations, forms for ordering services and any other relevant information relating to the exhibitor s participation in the commercial event. It shall be binding in its entirety on the exhibitor. Stand means the space occupied for the presentation of products or services or the space used for meeting customers or colleagues. Commercial event catalogue means an electronic or hardcopy document containing the list of exhibitors, their contact details, stand numbers and any other information relating to the commercial event «In the event of doubt regarding a definition, the document ISO Norme Internationale Terminologie du secteur des foires, salons, congrès ou manifestations commerciales should be referred to». By signing their application for registration, exhibitors accept all their regulations as well as all those imposed by particular or new circumstances. They also undertake to adhere to all the legal and regulatory provisions in force, in particular labour legislation and safety regulations The organiser alone determines the venue, the duration, and the opening and closing times of the event, the price of stands and admissions, as well as the closing date for registrations. He alone determines the categories of people or companies allowed to exhibit and/or visit the event as well as the list of products or services presented. CHAPTER 2: APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION AND PERMISSION TO EXHIBIT 02.01The participation application is made by means of the form provided by the organiser and disseminated in hardcopy or electronic format. Requests for a participation application form, dispatch of this form, and/or receipt of shall not constitute permission to exhibit The organiser shall examine the participation applications and decide on admissions. Admission shall become effective only when written confirmation has been sent to the exhibitor The organiser shall be the sole arbiter of the definition and organisation of the offer at its commercial event. The organiser (or selection committee) therefore reserves the right to reject, either provisionally or definitively, any participation application which does not meet the required conditions, as stipulated on the participation application form or those in the general regulations for commercial events and/or the particular regulations or the event s schedule, or due to Public Order considerations or the protection of certain protected interests Grounds for rejection may include incomplete provision of the required information, default on payments or guarantees required by the organiser, failure to honour previous obligations, in particular those arising from these General Regulations, the unsuitability of the applicant, their products or services for the purpose, spirit or image of the event, the legally-enforced liquidation of the exhibitor, their proven insolvency, failure to obtain administrative or legal permissions necessary for their presence at the event, the risk of their presence harming the protected interests of consumers and young people, and more generally causing a disturbance to Public Order, the peace of other exhibitors and the safety and enjoyment of visitors The exhibitor shall inform the organiser of any element or event, having occurred or been noted since their participation application, which may be deemed to constitute grounds for a fresh examination of their participation application in the light of articles and of these regulations In addition, the organiser reserves the right to request further information relating to the above at any time, and if necessary review any admission decision made on the basis of information which is untruthful, erroneous or has become inaccurate. The paid deposit then remains with the organiser who reserves the right, moreover, to demand payment of the balance of the total fee The rights acquired through registration are personal and inalienable. Admission shall not entail any right of admissibility to other events organised by the organiser Unless there is special dispensation from the organiser at their express request, groups can only exhibit on collective stands if each member company in the group, has been admitted individually and has undertaken to pay the registration fees. CHAPTER 3: REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEES 03.01Applications forms, to avoid being rejecting out of hand, must be accompanied by the first payment, as determined by the organiser. Administration and registration fees may be forfeit to the organiser, irrespective of the outcome of the participation application 03.02The overall amount of participation fees for the event shall become the definitive property of the organiser following the admission decision sent in writing to the exhibitor. Failure to pay the balance or any instalment payment by the stipulated deadline, shall, with no prior notice required, be deemed to constitute termination of the admission to exhibit, the down payment made remaining the irrevocable property of the organiser. SILMO October to 7 October Paris Nord Villepinte

31 General regulations for trade fairs and exhibitions in France 03.03Furthermore, the organiser reserves the right to pursue payment of the balance of the price payable, notwithstanding non-participation, irrespective of the reasons for this, by the exhibitor admitted to exhibit. In the event of an exhibitor not occupying their stand for whatever reason on the day of the opening of the event, or by the setup deadline set by the organiser, they shall be deemed to have waived their right to exhibit. Without prejudice to any other measures taken and to the risk of the exhibitor, the organiser may use the stand of the defaulting exhibitor without the latter being able to claim either refund, or compensation, even if the stand is allocated to another exhibitor The regulations specific to each event may define the procedures and conditions according to which the definitively registered exhibitor will be able, if necessary, to withdraw. CHAPTER 4: ALLOCATION OF STAND SITES 04.01The organiser establishes the plan of the event and distributes the sites. The organiser establishes the plan of the event and distributes the sites The organiser or selection committee may, pursuant to the particular regulations for each event, determine a maximum exhibition area for each type of activity or service marketed and/or a maximum number of exhibitors. Acceptance of the participation application of each exhibitor therefore depends on the spaces remaining vacant in the relevant sector of business at the time of the participation application. In order to take into account the specific characteristics of each event, they nonetheless maintain, in consideration of objective elements applicable indiscriminately to all exhibitors, the possibility of altering the originally planned allocation Unless otherwise specified by the organiser or selection committee, admission to exhibit shall not grant any right to occupy any given site. Participation in previous events does not presuppose the right of the exhibitor to any given site In the constitution of lots and allocation of sites, the organiser or selection committee shall do its utmost to take into account wishes expressed by exhibitors, the nature and interest of the articles or services they propose to present and the layout of the stand they plan to install Where made possible by the event venue, the plans supplied and designations of lots include measurements which are as accurate as possible and specify the venues and types of special event which will be of three during the commercial event. Having been informed by the organiser about the advantages and any drawbacks arising from the fact that their stand is in the vicinity of special events, and in the absence of any complaint prior to the beginning of the commercial event, the exhibitor is deemed to have accepted such considerations and to have waived their right to take any action against the organiser due to their immediate environment about which they did not receive prior information In the event of absolute necessity, the organiser reserves the right to alter the following if they deem this necessary in the interest of the event, at any time, before and during the event, without it being necessary to inform the exhibitor: the general and particular decoration; opening times; the programming of special events; provided that these changes do not constitute a substantial change to the original contract signed between the organiser and exhibitor. Should this contract be substantially modified, the organiser shall do its utmost to find an acceptable solution for the exhibitor. CHAPTER 5: INSTALLATION AND CONFORITY OF STANDS 05.01The specific exhibitor guide or manual for each event as defined in article shall determine the time granted to the exhibitor, before the event opens, to proceed with fitting out their stand and placing there the items they will need during the event Throughout the set-up period, the exhibitor is required to adhere to the professional charter for organising health and safety at work in situations of co-activity during set-up and break-down operations for commercial events drafted by FSCEF and adopted at the general meeting on 2 July The exhibitor is required to conform to the organiser's instructions relating to the regulation of entry and exit of goods, in particular concerning the movement of vehicles within the enclosure of the event Exhibitors or their agents, must have finished their installation on the dates and times set by the organiser; after these dates and times, no packaging, equipment, transport vehicle or outside contractor be granted access to, be held or remain in the event venue, for any reason and irrespective of any adverse consequences for the exhibitor Each exhibitor, or their agents, shall provide for the transport, receipt and dispatch of their packages or other items dispatched as well as the recognition of their contents. All packages and other items dispatched shall be unwrapped on arrival. If exhibitors or their agents are not present to receive their packages or other items dispatched, in view of the attendant liability, the organiser shall refuse packages and other items dispatched to the exhibitor in their absence, unless specified otherwise in the contract. The exhibitor may not claim compensation for any loss due to receive their packages or other items dispatched to them The installation of stands must not, under any circumstances, damage or modify the permanent installations of the exhibition site, nor must they be detrimental to the convenience or safety of other exhibitors and of visitors. The exhibitor shall bear the cost of any damage caused by them. In this respect, the exhibitor shall take out damage insurance Particular decoration of stands shall be carried out by exhibitors who shall assume full responsibility for same. This decoration must not impede the visibility of signs and safety equipment and must blend in with the general decorations of the event, not hinder the visibility of neighbouring stands and not be in breach of any stipulations in the particular regulations of the organiser, the host venue and/or the exhibitor guide or handbook In the exhibition spaces, all the materials used, including hangings and carpets, shall comply with the regulations in force; the organiser reserves the right to have any non-conforming material or installation removed or destroyed at any time at the expense of the exhibitor At its own initiative or at the request of a penalised exhibitor, the organiser reserves the right, before the opening and during the event, to have removed or altered installations which are detrimental to the overall aspect of the event, which inconvenience neighbouring exhibitors, or which do not comply with the previously submitted particular plans or projects. The organiser shall be the sole arbiter for such matters and is bound only by an obligation of means if it decides to intervene in response to a request made by a penalised exhibitor The exhibitor shall be present or shall mandate a duly authorised person to be present on their stand during the inspection of the safety department, and shall comply, throughout the event, with the safety measures imposed by the Public Authorities and safety measures taken by the organiser or site manager, and adhere to the professional charter for organising health and safety at work in situations of co-activity during set-up and break-down operations for commercial events». 47 Disabled access within exhibitions PREAMBLE Making a location accessible means to enable persons in a temporary or prolonged condition of handicap to exercise their rights as citizens, and offer well-being for all. Accessibility forms part of the general building rules, in the same way as safety does. The dimensional aspects that characterise it have been defined on the basis of a standard occupied wheel chair. This size makes it possible to make arrangements likely to satisfy the functional requirements of all persons with reduced mobility. In accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force, the effective implementation of accessibility must be translated by the possibility: of moving around without knocking into obstacles created by designers or other building professionals of accessing buildings of all descriptions of using all the service provisions placed at the disposal of the general public. Accessibility does not eliminate physical deficiency but it should contribute to abolishing disadvantages. It makes it possible to preserve a degree of independence for those who are affected by a motor deficiency. Accessibility is an essential condition for safety, independence and the social integration of persons with reduced mobility. Accessibility of establishments and facilities open to the general public. Changes in floor level, or lips, must be rounded or chamfered. The minimum distance is 2.50m between two lips. Slopes with "coltsfoot" steps or successive lips are forbidden. If a transverse or sideways slope cannot be avoided, it must be under 2%. The minimum width of passageways is 1.40m (1.20m if there are no walls on either side). Care must be taken to avoid grills, gaps and holes that present an obstacle to wheels or walking sticks (see diagram below). Visually impaired persons must be able to detect various obstacles with their stick while moving around, and for the partially sighted, obstacles must be in colours that contrast with their immediate surroundings. DIMENSION AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Technical guide for the application of legal texts: Law no of 11 February 2005 (Journal Officiel 12 February 2005). Law N of 30 June 1975 (JO July 1, 1975) Law N of 13 July 1991 (JO July 19, 1991) (L.111-7, L to of the Building and Housing Code and L and L of the Town Planning Code). Decree no of 26 January 1994 (JO of 28 January 1994) (R R of the Building and Housing Code). Decree no of 8 March 1995 relating to CCDSA (JO 10 March 1995) Decree of 31 May 1994 (JO 22 June 1994) Circular no of July 7, 1994 (BO Equipment facilities no. 94/20) GENERAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS 1. Horizontal circulation The route that is the most easily negotiable should be the most common or one of the most common routes. It must lead as directly as possible and without interruption from the limit of the defined building permit or works areas to the spaces or installations open to the public. The floors must not be soft or slippery and must present no obstacles to the passage of wheels. Throughout its length it should ideally be horizontal with no irregularities. If a slope is unavoidable, the values on the drawing opposite are acceptable. Any uneven surface must be crossed by a sloping surface if there is no lift. The positioning of the handrail does not apply to bays. Horizontal rest landings of a minimum length of 1.40m, not including clearance for doors, are required every 10m for ramps of between 4% and 5%, at the top and bottom of each slope in front of all doors and inside each double entrance door. 2. Vertical circulations (and raised stand) LIFTS Accessible lifts are obligatory if: the establishment can receive fifty persons on the upper floor. the facility receives fewer than fifty persons when services cannot be provided on the ground floor or at access level. The lift is deemed to be practicable if its characteristics allow use by a person in a wheelchair (see diagram below). Sliding doors are obligatory. The controls are at a maximum height of 1.30m and stopping position accuracy is ±2cm maximum If the lift has more than one entrance, the minimal dimensions required are 1m (parallel to each door) x 1, 30m (perpendicular to each door). The lift must be validated by an inspection bureau subsequent to assembly. SILMO October to 7 October Paris Nord Villepinte

48 Disabled access at the Exhibition (Cont'd) STAIRS Unless there is also a lift, one of the staircases must be suitable for use by reduced-mobility persons who have difficulty moving about. The minimum width is 1.20m if there is no wall, 1.30m if there is a wall on one side and 1.40m if it is between two walls. The maximum height of the steps is 16cm and the minimum stair width is 28cm. The front edges of the steps must be clearly visible. Stairs of more than three steps, whether inside or outside, must have handrails on both sides. The handrail extends beyond the first and last steps of each flight. Comments The width of the staircase is measured between handrails when there are no walls and between handrail and wall when there is only one wall. On a curved or circular staircase, the step width is measured in an area situated between 0.60m from the inner side and 0.60m from the outer side. Whether inside or outside, any staircase without a corresponding lift must be accompanied by a ramp. TABLE, BANK, TICKET OFFICE The height of at least one of the ticket offices, counters etc., where they exist, must be accessible to persons with reduced mobility (room for arms and knees). An area with minimum dimensions of 1.30m x 0.80m must be provided in front of or beside each accessible table or ticket office. Recommendations Persons with walking difficulties should be offered the possibility of sitting down in all places where the public are required to wait (offices, waiting rooms, etc.). The installation of various sound amplification and transmission systems would be desirable, to be able to cater for persons with hearing impairments. Sound alarms must have corresponding light signs and vice versa. 3. Signposting The international symbol for disabled accessibility, of a stylised side view of a person sitting in a wheelchair, will be the only sign used to indicate reduced-mobility facilities that are not easy to find. Comments Parking spaces are indicated by panels and only public transport vehicles for persons of reduced mobility or vehicles displaying the "GIG" or "GIC" initials may park in thesespecially provided spaces.
