I am particularly interested in employee well-being related outcomes throughout transition periods across the career life span (work-life balance in transition to adulthood, work-family conflict in transition to parenthood) and positive psychology interventions that produce positive employee outcomes (gratitude, wellness programs, work-family facilitation). Cortisol Couples Study A mixed methods investigation examining the effects of work activities on family life, physiological stress and well-being among working couples. Anticipated Work-Family Conflict Master s thesis study investigating the impact of anticipated work-family conflict on Millennial college student s future career and personal goals, as well as their attraction to organizations that offer family-friendly benefits. Exploration of Work-family Conflict as Portrayed by Media News Sources A content analysis project examining the media s attention to and portrayal of work-family conflict over the past 50 years, especially through the lens of gendered expectations.
