3 PETER LUUKKO Executive Chairman Peter Luukko was appointed Executive Chairman of The Florida Panthers Hockey Club and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment on February 6, Luukko, 55, served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Comcast-Spectacor, L.P. for more than 25 years, overseeing the Philadelphia Flyers, while serving as a member of the National Hockey League Board of Governors. He oversaw Comcast-Spectacor s facility-management business, which runs more than 125 sports arenas, stadiums and convention centers. He was also responsible for the expansion of Comcast-Spectacor s broad range of businesses. Under Luukko s leadership, Comcast-Spectacor helped Philadelphia garner national attention and awareness by attracting several high-profile events to the city of Philadelphia, including the 2000 Republican National Convention, the 2000 NCAA Women s Final Four, the 2001 NCAA Men s East Regionals, the 2001 and 2002 X-Games, the 2002 NBA All-Star Weekend, the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Gymnastics, the 2011 NCAA Wrestling Championships, the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four and numerous other sports and entertainment events. As President of the Flyers, he played an instrumental role in his club participating in two Winter Classics (2010 and 2012), while also hosting the 2014 National Hockey League Draft. A recognized leader in the facility management industry, Luukko was the 2000 recipient of the City of Hope s Tri-State Labor Award. He also received the 2002 prestigious Harold J. VanderZwaag Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Sports Management Program of the University of Massachusetts for his accomplishments in the field of sports management. He received the 2013 Police Athletic League PAL Award for his contributions to the Philadelphia community. In 2013, Mr. Luukko and Comcast-Spectacor Chairman Ed Snider ranked 43rd on Street & Smith s Sports Business Journal s prestigious list of the Top 50 Most Influential Leaders in Sports Business. The two are also two-time winners of Venues Today s Hall of Headlines. He also was named one of Billboard Magazine s Power 100 (2012 and 2013). Mr. Luukko serves as an active member of the Board of Directors of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc., a Toronto company that develops sports-related software, including 50/50 raffle technology increasingly used at sports facilities across North America. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Philly Sports Holdings, an Exton, Pa.-based holding company that operates Sports Vault and Strategic Sports Marketing. Luukko is a hockey player, hockey coach and hockey parent. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. Luukko and his wife, Casey, have three children Nick, Dana and Max. His son Nick was drafte by the Flyers in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Draft. RORY A. BABICH President, CEO, & Alternate Governor Rory A. Babich, a long-time international business executive, has been serving as the CEO and President of the Florida Panthers since March 2014 after initially joining the Panthers as the Special Advisor to the Owner in January Babich is responsible for overseeing all business and hockey operations for the Panthers, the Panthers IceDen (the official practice facility of the Florida Panthers) and BB&T Center. Since his appointment, Babich has focused extensively on developing new strategies that are targeted at, among other things, the team s marketing, international brand awareness exposure, ticket pricing, corporate partnerships, digital media, web content and community outreach. Among his early achievements are enhancing commercial broadcasts, simplified ticket plans, an expanded community outreach program that features closer collaboration with local schools on different initiatives, an upcoming expansion of youth hockey programs in South Florida and the relaunch of Panthers Fan Fest. Before joining the Panthers, Babich served as a consultant to Messrs. Viola and Cifu in connection with their purchase of the Florida Panthers in September Previously, Babich worked as an executive with the liquid markets funds business of Fortress Investment Group, a publicly traded company, where he helped lead the business through the financial crisis, restructure the business, expand its product offerings to investors and increase its geographical scope through international expansion, eventually becoming its Chief Operating Officer responsible for running the day-today business. Babich joined Fortress Investment Group after working as an executive with Swiss Re Group, one of the world s largest reinsurers where Mr. Babich was a member of the leadership team responsible for managing a large portion of the Group s global public and private investment portfolio and helped lead the international expansion of its alternative investments business. Babich began his career as an international corporate attorney at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he worked in their New York, Hong Kong (which office he helped open) and Tokyo offices working on a wide range on global transactions for a number of different clients in a variety of industries before being recruited by his client Swiss Re to join them. An avid sports fan and long-time hockey follower, Babich was born in New York, New York and grow up in New Jersey. He graduated with a B.A. In Economics from Rutgers University and earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School. 3

4 DALE TALLON EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/GENERAL MANAGER Dale Tallon completed his fifth year as Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Florida Panthers after being named to the position on May 17, Tallon agreed to a multi-year contract extension on June 5, Over the last five seasons, Tallon has been responsible for reshaping the club s hockey operations department, as well as the team s player personnel. Florida completed the season as the NHL s most improved team, finishing the season with a record and 91 points, a 25-point improvement from the previous year. Under Tallon, the Panthers finished the season with a mark and the franchise s first Southeast Division championship. The Panthers earned 94 points, the club s most since totaling 98 points in For his efforts, Tallon was also nominated as a finalist for National Hockey League s Executive of the Year. In addition to the current Panthers roster, Tallon has ensured the Panthers will have a bright future by loading up on draft picks and top prospects. Since joining Florida, Tallon has conducted five successful NHL Drafts that have included seven first round selections: No. 1 D Aaron Ekblad (2014), No. 2 - F Aleksander Barkov (2013), No. 23 D Michael Matheson (2012), No. 3 F Jonathan Huberdeau (2011), No. 3 D Erik Gudbranson (2010), No. 19 C Nick Bjugstad (2010) and No. 25 C Quinton Howden (2010). Prior to joining the Panthers, Tallon spent 33 years with the Chicago Blackhawks organization as a front office executive, player and broadcast personality. He served as Chicago s General Manager from , and assistant GM from He was responsible for drafting or acquiring many of the Blackhawks top players who won the 2010 Stanley Cup. Tallon spent the season serving as a Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations for the Blackhawks. He also served four years ( ) as director of player personnel before returning to the radio and television booth prior to the season. A defenseman, Tallon was Vancouver s first-round selection (2nd overall) in the 1970 NHL Entry Draft. He played in 642 NHL contests with Vancouver ( ), Chicago ( ) and Pittsburgh ( ), registering 336 points ( ) and 568 PIM. Tallon recorded a career-high 17 goals in 69 games with Vancouver during the season and appeared in the 1971 and 1972 NHL All-Star Games. In 1972, Tallon was picked as an alternate for Team Canada at the 1972 Summit Series against the USSR. The Rouyn-Noranda, Que., native was born on Oct. 19, Tallon and his wife, Meg, are the parents of two daughters, Lauren and Kristen. GERARD GALLANT HEAD COACH Gerard Gallant was named the 13th head coach of the Florida Panthers on June 21, During his first season behind Florida s bench, Gallant guided the Panthers to a record and 91 points, a 25-point improvement from the previous season. The Panthers were eliminated from playoff contention after the 80th game of the regular season. Prior to joining the Panthers, Gallant, 50, spent two seasons ( ) as an assistant coach with the Montreal Canadiens, helping the team advance to the postseason each year, including the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals. During his two years as an assistant coach, Montreal posted a mark, including their first 100-point season since Before coaching in Montreal, Gallant spent three seasons ( ) as the head coach of the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). During his three seasons with Saint John, he compiled a record and led the Sea Dogs to three first-place finishes, three league final appearances, two QMJHL championships (2011 & 2012) and one Memorial Cup (2011). Gallant was also named the QMJHL and Canadian Hockey League Coach of the Year twice (2010 & 2011). Gallant served as head coach of Columbus for parts of three seasons ( & ), after serving as an assistant with the Blue Jackets ( ). He also was an assistant with the New York Islanders ( ), the International Hockey League s Fort Wayne Komets ( ) and the American Hockey League s Louisville Panthers ( ). Gallant began his coaching career in with the Summerside Capitals of the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MJrHL) leading the team to the Royal Bank Cup in A native of Summerside, P.E.I, Gallant was selected by Detroit in the sixth round (107th overall) in the 1981 NHL Draft. He played in 615 NHL games for Detroit ( ) and Tampa Bay ( ) registering 480 points ( ) and 1,674 penalty minutes. Gallant recorded four 70-plus point seasons, including his most successful year in when he registered a career high 93 points ( ) and was selected as a NHL Second Team All-Star. 4

8 TOP NORTH AMERICAN PROSPECTS FOR 2015 NHL DRAFT CONNOR MCDAVID FINAL RANK: Team: Erie (OHL) Center. Shoots Left. 6 1, 195lbs. Born 1/13/97 in Richmond Hill, ON, CAN McDavid finished third in the Ontario Hockey League with 120 points ( ) in 47 games this season to help the Erie Otters ( , 104 points) finish first in the Midwest Division and second in the Western Conference. A member of Canada s gold medal-winning entry at the 2015 World Junior Championship, McDavid tied for the tournament lead with 11 points (3-8 11), paced the tournament in assists and was named to the media all-star team. McDavid was granted exceptional player status by Hockey Canada to be eligible for the 2012 OHL Priority Selection as a 15-yearold. In his first season, he finished tops among rookies with 41 assists ( ), was named OHL Rookie of the Year and also was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team. In his sophomore season of , McDavid finished fourth in the OHL with 99 points ( ) in 56 games. He added 19 points ( ) in 14 playoff games before the Otters were eliminated in the Western Conference Championship. McDavid was named OHL Most Sportsmanlike Player and the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year. Internationally, McDavid also won gold with Canada at the 2013 Under-18 World Junior Championship, where he led the tournament in goals (8), assists (6) and points (14) to be named the Best Forward and Most Valuable Player. Born 10/28/96 in North Chelmsford, MA, USA As a freshman at Boston University, Eichel was named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award and paces all NCAA Division I skaters with 67 points ( ) in 38 games. He led the Terriers to their first conference title in six years and was named Most Valuable Player at the Hockey East Tournament. In , he was named Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year and was the only unanimous first-team Hockey East All-Star selection. Skating for the U.S. at the 2015 World Championship, Eichel finished third on the bronze medal-winning squad with in 10 games. That included the overtime goal with 28 seconds remaining in a 5-4 victory over Slovakia in the preliminary round. Eichel also won gold with Team USA at the 2014 Under-18 World Junior Championship, where he tied Sonny Milano (selected 16th overall by CBJ in 2014) for the team lead with 10 points (5-5 10) in seven games. He also earned silver at the 2013 Under-18 World Junior Championship and participated for the U.S. at the World Junior Championship in 2014 (1-4 5 in 5 GP) and 2015 (1-3 4 in 5 GP). In , Eichel led the U.S. Under-18 team which featured Milano, Alex Tuch (selected 18th overall by MIN in 2014) and Dylan Larkin (selected 15th overall by DET in 2014) with 87 points ( ) in 53 games and was named to the United States Hockey League Second All-Star Team. Born 1/25/97 in Boston, MA, USA Hanifin recorded 23 points ( ) in 37 games this season, third-most among freshmen NCAA Division I blueliners. At age 17, he became the youngest player ever to don an Eagles uniform when he skated in his first game with Boston College in October. Internationally, Hanifin captained Team USA to a gold medal at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, recording three points (1-2 3) in six games, and also won gold with the U.S. at the 2014 Under-18 World Junior Championship, finishing tied for second among defensemen in tournament scoring with five points (1-4 5) in seven games. Hanifin most recently skated for the U.S. at the 2015 World Junior Championship, registering two assists in five games. Hanifin spent the majority of the season as captain of the U.S. Under-17 team, leading all defensemen on the club with 33 points ( ) in 45 games.
