2 MISSION STATEMENT To produce a Terroir wine reflecting Typicality and Complexity of our region To distribute our wine to a connoisseurs and amateurs clientele via a reliable trade network HISTORICAL The vineyard of Château Aney was created in 1850 by Mr Aney who gave it his name. In 1972, Mr Jean Father and Jean Pierre RAIMOND Son bought the property and had to reconstitute it in its great majority. Today, Mr Jean Pierre RAIMOND father and David RAIMOND Son, continue to perpetuate the Great Family Tradition of Vigneron. HAUT MEDOC : A PRIVILLEGED GROUND Château Aney is located in Cussac Fort Médoc, between the famous Margaux and Saint Julien. The climate and the geology of this ground met together to make ideal conditions for growing wine. On the soil, big round and polished stones keep the heat of the day, protecting each head of the vine from the winter frost, and hurrying in the autumn the maturity of the grapes.

3 A TRADITIONAL VINEYARD OF 24 HECTARES Château Aney covers 24 Hectares of Haut Médoc. The vines are 31 years in average. THE EXCELLENCE OF A CRU BOURGEOIS Château Aney was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932, 1978 and confirmed in the New Classification of This classification of high quality can perpetuate thanks to the continual care brought both to the vineyard and the working out of the wine. The wine of Château Aney presents all the characters of a Haut Médoc wine: a ruby robe due to the predominance of the cabernet, a nose of underwood and spices, a mouth full of vim and a body which becomes over the years. MASTER OF THE BLEND After the ageing process into oak barrels, our Oenologist selects the best barrels and does the blending. A TRADITIONAL AND COMPLEX BLEND 65% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot 7% Cabernet Franc 3% Petit Verdot

4 A TRADITIONAL KNOW HOW BASED ON FAMILY VALUES A PHILOSOPHY FOUNDED ON FAMILY VALUES Terroir Typicity Tradition For Four Generations, the RAIMOND Family has been producing red wine in Cussac Fort Médoc and acquired most of its know how from Father to Son. In this way, Château Aney Values have been founding on following Family Values : Today, Château Aney charter remains unchanged and reflects its current state of mind which all its partners give the major importance. MASTER OF VINIFICATION During the wine making process, daily operations of pumping over are realized in order to oxygenate, homogenize, extract the tannins and the grape colour which will transform into wine. We use the Delestage which is a rack-and-return system with two particular features: it can be used to remove a proportion of the seeds at an early stage; and it exposes the wine to oxidation MASTER OF AGING PROCESS For each new vintage, the wine of Château Aney is exclusively aged into oak barrels among which one third are new. During the ageing process, frequent drawing off and sticking with egg albumin are done by our oenologist. REGULAR CONTROL DURING AGING PROCESS During the ageing process, the wine evolution is controlled by our Oenologist and his Assistant with regular sampling.

7 Château Aney Tasting Session Note of the 27 th February Ruby colour, beautiful nose which recall forests fruits with spicy notes evolving. Lots of volume inside the mouth with a good density, good tannic structure slowly evolving. Good final with fruit and vanilla. Ageing from now 3 to 5 years 2002 Silver medal at Aquitaine wine competition. Dark ruby with a brilliant robe. A complex nose where we can find underwood, grilled coffee and little red fruits smell. Very present attack with lots of fruits and a little tannins and slight touch of wood. Long final good length in mouth. Ageing from now 5 to 7 years 2003 Silver medal at Aquitaine wine competition. A deep Scarlet colour with some golden hints. Nose is composed of Underwood with slight spicy notes. Attack is present with supple tannins, we note some red fruits aromas. Final is long giving a very well balanced wine. Ageing from now 5 to 8 years 2005 Gold Medal at World Wine Competition of Brussels A brilliant and dense ruby-purple colour, this wine is characterised by a complex Nose of ripe red & black fruits, spices and with hints of oak and roasted coffee (moka). In the Mouth, the wine's ripe fruit and red berry & black currant fruit flavour's lead to a complex, structured and lingering finish lightly timbered.. To be discovered! Ageing from now 10 to15 years 2006 Clean, intense dark ruby and brilliant robe. Nose mineral, floral, rose, fruit aromas, fresh blackcurrant and cherry, well developed, elegant bouquet, complex. In the Mouth, the wine's ripe fruit of blackberry, black currant flavor, structured finish lightly timbered. Silky, nicely evolving, rather sweet fruit, well fleshed and very elegant in mouth, fine balance, most pleasant flavors, long, lingering finish. Very fine, well made wine, very charming and balanced. Ageing from now 10 to 15 years 2007 Ruby color bored with light gold-colored reflections. Nose mineral, red fruit aromas, fresh raspberry and cherry, well developed, elegant bouquet, and light spicy notes. In the Mouth, the wine's ripe fruit of raspberry, cherry flavor, structured finish lightly timbered. The attack is good with flexible tannins, fruity, wooded light and aromas of small red fruits. One finale long, fruity in mouth, a very well balanced wine. Ageing from now 7 8 the years
