DWELLING PLACE OF GRAND RAPIDS, INC. 9/82-3/84 Crisis Home Program Supervisor Clinical and administrative supervision of a six bed crisis home. Home provides services for individuals in psychiatric crisis. Program designed as an alternative to hospitalization. Responsibilities included: direct supervision of a ten member staff, budget management, maintenance of physical plant, liaison to other community agencies, formulation of policies, operating procedures and philosophy of treatment. HARBINGER OF GRAND RAPIDS, INC. 3/81-6/82 Psychiatric Social Worker Provided Assertive Community Treatment to adults with severe and persistent mental illness within a team framework. Specific areas of client advocacy included: housing, entitlements, financial management, nutrition, employment and psychiatric well being.
