In addition to rendering sharp, crisp images, it produces the distinctive nuances and subtle shading that Leica lenses are renowned for. The WX970 has an additional camera on the side of the display to help you capture different points of view, the video appears as picture-in-picture. Besides 270 panning, the sub camera now also features an electrical zoom and dedicated tilting. A special damping material is provided in the space between the mic and the mic net to suppress wind noise for clear recording. A number of features are built into the WX970/VX870 to counteract unwanted movement. Level Shot feature detects tilt and automatically corrects footage. For more creative freedom, you can choose between three settings: strong, normal and off. The 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ feature also stabilises your footage, automatically compensating blur from camera zooms and walking. This high-speed LSI processes the massive volume of 4K data quickly and accurately. A new noise reduction system achieves clear images with minimal noise even in darkness. Increasing the readout speed has made it possible to handle large-volume 4K data. This suppresses the rolling shutter distortion that often occurs when shooting moving subjects. With four times the resolution than Full HD, video is captured in crisp detail. When footage is down-converted to Full HD, the data will have even better definition and clarity than those filmed in Full HD. 4K Photo function 4K also offers more options in extracting 8MP still images from your footage. 4K has four times the resolution of Full HD Video and allows sharp, detailed prints of single frames up to the size of A3. Two cameras let you easily take shots from two different angles simultaneously. For example, you can catch a shot of your friends or family at the side and a selfie, or both a tele and wide-angle shot from the front.
