3 4 West 31st Street (between Broadway and 5th Ave), New York, NY1001 Location The Wolcott Hotel is located in the heart of New York City, just 3 blocks from the Empire State Building and close to Madison Square Garden, Penn Street Station, Javis centre, Herald Square and Macy s department store. The hotel also has good access to public transport. Brief Description Built in 1905, The Wolcott still retains some of its classic elegance combined with modern accommodation. A comfortable hotel with plenty of facilities located in the heart of New York City. Breakfast consisting of muffin and tea or coffee is included in the price. Local Category/Rating: Tourist Hotel (equivalent British 3*) Rooms All rooms are tastefully decorated, have air condition and are equipped with private facilities, telephone, voic , cable television, bedroom safe, play stations and internet access. (hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are available by request through the front desk). Towels are provided. There are specially adapted rooms for disabled guests with wider doors and grab bars in the bathrooms. Public areas are accessible for wheelchair users. The hotel has a large, baroque style reception lobby, a cash machine, vending machines, payphones in the public areas and luggage locker rooms available. There is also a Fitness Room, a small newsagent (selling drinks, phone cards, postcards etc opening times 07:30-19:30), self-service laundry, a small conference room, a business centre with access to computer, printer The hotel also has 2 lifts which can accommodate wheelchair users.
