Take the first step towards enjoying a top-quality, beautiful new vinyl liner this season - at an excellent price - return this completed Form for a Liner Quote today! Important Measuring Tips, to void ommon rrors Please read all of the tips and instructions below, before you begin. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at (800) Follow all measuring instructions carefully, and refer to all Diagrams to ensure accuracy. Never assume your pool is standard. ll pools are different, and detailed measurements are always required to ensure your new Liner will fit exactly. We will need actual pool measurements even if the original pool plans are available. light variances may have occurred during construction, or the plan may not have been followed precisely. Do not make allowances for weather conditions, temperature or the fact that vinyl can shrink and expand. These factors are taken into account during the manufacturing process. ou don t need to drain your pool to measure it. Draining does make the process easier, but most measurements can be taken from outside of the pool. If you can, have another person help you. Measuring is quicker and easier with two people. Provide all measurements in feet & inches. Round each measurement up to the nearest /4 inch. learly write each measurement in black ink. Please do NOT use pencil or felt-tip marker. Record all measurements in the Dimensions section of the Measuring Form where indicated. ou may need to transfer measurements from other pages of this document. Remember to sign the Measuring Form before you send it to us. We cannot begin your Liner Quote without a signed Measuring Form. If you plan to mail your Form, be sure to first MK OPI of all pages for your records. ou will need to refer to them if we have any questions. If you plan to fax your Form, include your name, address, telephone number and return fax number (if applicable) on each page of the fax. Pool Measuring Instructions Follow these instructions carefully, and refer to all Diagrams to ensure accuracy. If you have any questions, call us at tep #: hoose our Liner Type (ung eaded, Low-ung eaded or Overlap) Mark your selection in the "Liner Type" portion of the Measuring Form where indicated, filling in all requested information. ou can now proceed to tep # below. tep #: hoose our Pool hape elect your exact pool shape from those provided in either Diagram 4 (Pool hapes) or Diagram 5 (Other Pool hapes) below. Record your pool shape in the Pool hape portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. ou can now proceed to tep #3 below. tep #3: hoose our orner Type Refer to Diagram below, then select the corner type on your pool. Mark your selection in the orner Type portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. pecial Note: If you have more than one corner type on your pool (such as with a Lazy L shape), please include a sketch of your pool indicating each corner type (with the corresponding measurements) along with the Measuring Form itself. ou can now proceed to tep #4 below. pecialty Pool Products Phone: Fax:

2 Pool Measuring Instructions (continued) tep #4: Measure the Length () and the Width () of your Pool Refer to the pool shape you selected in tep # above. oth length () and width () measurements should be taken at the bead receiver (where the liner snaps into the track), and NOT at the edge of the coping (the edge of the pool deck). Refer to the illustration at right for details. Mark () and () measurements in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. pecial Note: If you have an L or Lazy L shape, take LL measurements for and (including,, 3, 4, and ) noting each additional measurement in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. For Lazy L and Rectangle shapes only, proceed to tep #5 below. For all other shapes, proceed directly to tep #6 below. tep #5: Measure the Diagonals (for Rectangle & "Lazy L" shaped pools only) If your pool is not a Rectangle or Lazy L, proceed to tep #6. If your pool does have a rectangular or Lazy-L shape, you ll need to take diagonal measurements. Diagonal measurements are important, because few pools are perfectly square. There can be a substantial difference end-to-end in a pool, which needs to be noted so your Liner is manufactured correctly. Refer to Illustration D (in Diagram ) for details: For a Rectangular pool, measure the pool on the diagonals (R and Q). For a Lazy L pool, make sets of diagonal measurements: (Z, Z) and (Z3, Z4). pecial Notes: Remember to take all measurements at the bead receiver (where the liner snaps into the track) and NOT at the edge of the coping (see illustration in tep #4 above). To identify the diagonals, refer to your pool s shape using Diagram 4 (Pool hapes) or Diagram 5 (Other Pool hapes). Measure diagonals from squared corners. If the corners of your pool are rounded (radius) or cut (diagonal), be sure to measure to squared corners. Refer to Diagram (Measuring with orners) for instructions. Mark your measurements in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. ou can now proceed to tep #6 below. tep #6: Measuring the hallow nd of oved-ottom Pools Refer to Diagram (Measuring Pools with a hallow nd oved ottom) to determine if this applies to your pool. If it does not apply, proceed to tep #7 below. If your pool does have a shallow end coved bottom, follow the steps in Diagram to take measurements (), (T), (U) and (V). Mark your measurements in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated and proceed to tep #7 below. tep #7: Measuring orizontal Pool ottom and Depth Refer to Diagram 3 (Measuring orizontal Pool ottom and Depth) for instructions. Make sure you are measuring the pool bottom on a horizontal plane if you measure the slopes of the pool, your results will not be accurate. The measurements you take depend on your pool s style of bottom contour. elect the appropriate bottom contour using Illustration (within Diagram 3). Then measure length, depth and width of your pool accordingly. Record measurements in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. Proceed to tep #8 below. tep #8: ontinue with Measurements ased on your Pool hape Diagram Refer to your pool shape (from either Diagram 4 or Diagram 5) to complete the remaining measurements. Record measurements in the Dimensions portion of the Measuring Form where indicated. If your pool has a vinyl-covered, built-in step section, proceed to tep #9 below. If not, proceed directly to tep #0 below. tep #9: For Pools with Vinyl-overed tep ections ONL If your pool has a built-in step section that is covered with vinyl, first check off the Vinyl-overed tep ections box on page of the Measuring Form. Next, complete Page of the Measuring Form. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at (800) ou can now proceed to tep #0 below. tep #0: hoose your Liner Pattern & Thickness (Mil.) hoose up to Liner patterns (with corresponding mil.) for your Liner Quote. Then, proceed to tep # below. tep #: Review your Measuring Form & end it to Us Double-check all measurements, ensuring that the Quick hecks along the way are all correct.
