7 AEMIT The Asset Enterprise Management Information Tool (AEMIT) is a decision support tool which houses the electronic version of the Navy-Marine Corps (NAVMC) Weapon Record Book Part 1 and NAVMC 10558a Weapon Record Book Part 2. These record books are mandatory weapons accounting records that track both firing and non-firing data for particular individual weapon systems to include installed and removed components. By preserving the data electronically, the possibility of loss of paper records is greatly reduced and provides for easier data accessibility for decision-makers, analysts, and program managers. The AEMIT EWRB also provides Serial Number level warning and notification messages to the user. Warning messages include (but are not limited to): Past Due Maintenance Actions Modification Actions Due Inspections Due AEMIT Dashboard 7

8 TESLA The Marine Corps has recognized the need to make life cycle management decisions based upon reliable information about current and future states of its materiel. Intended to provide decision makers with insight into the implications associated with different operational supply chain management and business case decisions as they relate to a particular weapons system. 8

9 Reset Optimization Assessed ARFORGEN process to support Army G4 policy decisions and Prototyped simulation and optimization decision support models that determine cost-effective options (repair or procure) to fill estimated RESET equipment on-hand shortages Accomplishments: Developed detailed visualization of ARFORGEN process Using simulation methods for estimating equipment shortages Developed methodology and general cost optimization model to: o o Minimize cost to fill equipment shortages Fill CL-VII operational requirements in appropriate timeframe The USMC Reset Cost Model quantifies and qualifies the procurement and repair costs required to maintain the Equipment Density List (EDL) for equipment commodity codes A-E being used in the OIF and OEF theaters of operation. The reset module uses the latest Supported Activities Supply System (SASSY) on hand values provided for all units in OIF and OEF, applies the reset strategies provided from MCSC Program Managers (PMs). 9

11 C-IED - Counter IED Integrator Cell (CI2C) Program Core Tasks: Initially established as a joint service program through JIEDDO to integrate IED training into all levels of training. Provides technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, advice and execution to establish, integrate, maintain, improve and disseminate C-IED training related information as it pertains to IED subject matter. Assists cadre training students on concepts, Tactics Technique and Procedures (TTPs) as they relate to C-IED training, i.e., indicators, operation of CREW Systems and 5/25/200m drills. Assists in recovery and maintenance of C-IED lanes. Researches C-IED TTPs, Lessons Learned and Doctrinal publications to assist with cadre training. Provides directional guidance, counseling, and assistance to cadre, Opposing Force (OPFOR), Red Team, or Civilians on the Battlefield (COB) personnel that participate in the C-IED training lane experience. Maintains a current working knowledge of IED components, emplacement and concealment as used in the current US Theater of Operations (OEF/OIF). Receive, process and integrate IED specific threat related information from weekly intelligence briefings to the training Cadre through Community of Practice (CoP) Information networking. ** This program is currently operated by CTC for; The Air Education & Training Command, USAF as well as, The supporting TSC contract IED Integration Cell (I2C) TECOM, USMC 11
