Admission is competitive and is based on academic preparation, GPA and capacity within the major of first choice. A note regarding majors: Over 50% apply to 12 majors! Continued success: Nearly 96% of transfers return for their second year with a 91% graduation rate
20 What you can expect from UCLA for Fall 2015 UCLA will host our second annual fall open house for prospective applicants on Saturday, September 20, as well as a series of Transfer Admissions Days in northern, central and southern California this fall; for more information, on all fall admissions events, see: UCLA will seek to enroll 3,100 transfer students. UCLA will continue to utilize a waitlist for transfers Transfer students are guaranteed housing for one year.
