4 Why Workday? Why are we doing it? To improve the efficiency, consistency and access of our HR data to Managers and Employees and enable us to function more effectively as a global organisation Our first global system with every employee on the system Up-to-date organization charts available any time What will it do? Workday is a web based global system that will enable Severn Trent Services to manage our employee data and manage job related processes all in one place Country specific formatting for addresses, phone numbers, etc. Employee home currency, manager home currency exchange rate conversions Research and reporting capabilities for the employees that report to you Secured system that complies with all data privacy regulations around the globe What does it look like? It is a simple system to use, if you do online shopping or banking, the format will look familiar to you Intuitive interface that you can customize Global standardization (adjusted for country specific legal requirements as necessary) so all managers see and do the same thing Built in audits (fields and formatting) during all processes like websites you currently use Programmed, predefined processes with automatic routing Severn Trent Services 4
