2 TACKLING CANCER ONE MILE AT A TIME THE DCC 2012 Schedule About the Dolphins Cycling Challenge Launched in 2010, the Dolphins Cycling Challenge BILE DUCT("DCC ) is a twoday tri-county charity cycling event coordinated by the Miami Dolphins. The purpose of the DCC is to increase cancer awareness, encourage healthy hobbies, and KAPOSI S raise funds for the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. In its second year in 2011, over 700 riders raised $1,070,000 for ANGIO Sylvester, establishing it as one of the largest fundraisers in South Florida history. 3 TACKLING CANCER ONE MILE AT A TIME THE ROUTES The DCC will offer various options for riders of different abilities spanning the tri-county area. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2012 BILE DUCT Saturday will offer a 100-mile "century ride known as the "Miami Century METASTATIC Ride MELANOMA from Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens to West Palm Beach. Joining the Century Ride at the start will be the Miami Homecoming Loop, a 50 mile loop from Sun Life Stadium back to Sun Life Stadium. A second loop called KAPOSI S the "Palm Beach Loop will be offered for Palm Beach County cyclists both beginning and ending at CityPlace. This route will merge with the Miami Century Ride at the final water stop. At the close of Day 1, there will ANGIO be a celebration at CityPlace in West Palm Beach to congratulate the Saturday participants and welcome the cyclists on Sunday. Routes SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2012 Three rides will be offered on Sunday from which participants can choose: OSTEO The first is a 70-mile "West Palm Beach Ride from CityPlace down to Sun Life Stadium. The second is a 30-mile "Fort Lauderdale Ride from Ft. Lauderdale to Sun Life Stadium. For younger cyclists, the DCC will host a "Kids Ride that will finish simultaneously with the adult riding groups at Sun Life Stadium. At the conclusion of the DCC, Sun Life Stadium will host a celebration to honor cancer survivors from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the cyclists who participated in raising funds and increasing cancer awareness. 3 LEIOMYO
