2 2 COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, PUNE SHIVAJINAGAR, PUNE Ph: /7091 Fax: DATE: INVITATION OF TENDER Name of the Work: Sealed bids are invited from reputed organizations for Supplying Desktop Computers at Computer Engineering & IT Department of College of Engineering Pune as per the Annexure _I 1.Eligibility Criteria: 1.1 The bidder must have minimum three years experience in supplying the Desktop Computers (documentary proof in the form of work orders, completion certificate should be attached). The proof must clearly state the details of the supply of the Desktop Computers and installations. Also, the bidder must have executed the purchase order of not less than Rs Lacs (Single order) during last three years. 1.2 The bidder s annual turnover for last three years (3 years) must be more than Rs lakhs for each year (Proof of the same in the form of audited Balance Sheets/ Income Tax Returns of the Company for the last 3 years must be attached) 1.3 The bidder should be an authorized partner of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Proof of the same must be attached. 1.4 Name of contact person, address details along with telephone and mobile nos. must be provided by bidder. Bidder should have an appropriate authorization letter from the principal vendor (OEM) in reference to this enquiry ( ) 2. Order Placement: The bidder has to clearly mention the address for placement of order. 3. Make of Items: Bidder should mention make and model of the items in the offer. 4. Bidder shall be responsible for successful Installation and testing of the supplied Desktop PC.

3 3 5. The institute reserves the right to cancel and or change the quantities and or items mentioned without citing any reasons. 6. The Institute reserves the right to select or reject the offer of the vendor without citing any reasons. 7. The Institute reserves the right to cancel purchase order, before or after the delivery of material before payments, without citing any reasons. 8. The institute has Customs, Excise duty, and octroi exemption as applicable. 9. Delivery Period for Items: The Items should be delivered within 40 (Forty) days of receipt of confirmed order. 10. Service Support: Onsite comprehensive Support (parts, labor, and onsite) should be provided for a minimum period of 3 years by the bidder. 11. Comprehensive Warranty: 11.1 Three Years Comprehensive Warranty for Supplied items from OEM The Supplier shall be fully responsible for the Manufacturer s warranty for all equipment, accessories, spare parts etc. against any defects arising from design, material, manufacturing, workmanship, or any act or omission of the manufacturer / Bidder or any defect that may develop under normal use of supplied equipment during the warranty period In case the Bidder is unable to fulfill his obligations during the warranty period, the warranty obligations will fully and automatically devolve upon the Manufacturer of the goods. The Bidder shall be fully responsible for getting the product replaced from the principle company or coordinating the same with the principle company during the warranty period. 12. Payment: 100% payment shall be made at the earliest on the delivery of item in good condition in stores of Computer Engineering & IT Department, COE Pune and after successful installation. 13. Performance Security Deposit / Bank Guarantee: Performance Security Deposit / Bank Guarantee (Nationalized Bank only) for an 10% value of the contract (if order is placed) is to be submitted immediately after accepting the purchase order. The performance security must be valid during the support period i.e. for THREE years. The same will be returned after completion of support period.

4 14. Verification of Bank Guarantees: Bank Guarantee submitted by the Bidder as EMD/ Performance Security is subject to verification from the issuing bank by purchaser before its acceptance. 15. All duties, taxes and other levies payable by the bidder needs to be included in the total price, and break up needs to be indicated. 19. Bidders have to submit non-refundable DD/Banker s cheque of Rs (Five Thousand only) by hand or by post as tender fee in favour Director College of Engineering Pune 20. The Bidder shall seal the Quotation in an envelope addressed to Director, College of Engineering, Pune. 21.
