2 Homework Checklist Use your best handwriting in blue or black pen Underline title and date Use sentence variety - simple, compound and complex sentences Use a ruler for underlining, diagrams and labels Draw in pencil only Proof read work Check capital letters and punctuation Check spellings Use a single line to cross out mistakes Homework Agreement Teacher will set appropriate homework on average every fortnight, or extended projects or coursework ensure students complete tasks on time assess all work, either by self, peer or teacher assessment teacher assessed work will follow the school marking policy, providing useful feedback homework instructions placed on the Parent Portal and resources provided Students will will make a note of homework tasks set in their homework books complete homework on time to the best of their ability attend Homework Support Sessions if required by the college seek help if they experience difficulties read teacher feedback carefully to make future improvements contribute to the student teacher dialogue Parents/Carers will support students with their homework to show that they value independent study support the students to access the homework and complete it on time support the college when students are required to attend the Homework Support Sessions encourage students and praise them when homework is completed 6.
