6 A N N U A L R E P O R T Dear Shareholders, In 2010, Unicorn Systems successfully completed a number of innovative projects. These include the implementation of Claims Handling solution for Allianz pojišťovna, the implementation of a Debt Collection solution in Českomoravská stavební spořitelna, and the implementation of digital signatures in the Tatra banka branch solution, which thus became the first bank in Central Europe with such an innovative solution. We have successfully continued in the implementation of the complex Damas information system for the automation of business and technical processes for European transmission system operators. For European transmission system operators within the TSC initiative, we have developed and implemented the CTDS system for data exchange and security assessment of transmission system operation, which improves the reliability and safety of electricity supplies for 170 million citizens in 10 European countries. Providing quality services that are not only delivered within an agreed time and for a good price, but also provide a high added value, ensures us the trust of our long-time clients, such as Česká spořitelna, Komerční banka, Raiffeisenbank, Tatra banka, Všeobecná úverová banka, Česká pojišťovna, Allianz pojišťovna, Českomoravská stavební spořitelna, ČEPS, SEPS, Elia, Tennet or Telefónica O2, Vodafone, Tesco Stores, and Škoda Auto. In 2010, Unicorn Systems revenue reached EUR 41,5 million, of which supplies of services accounted for more than 92%. The key part of our revenue was services in the field of development, integration, operation, and support of information systems. In 2010, income from abroad accounted for 25% of total revenue. Within the Unicorn Top Gun Academy, a long-term complex educational and testing program, a number of our employees successfully completed the 2nd Star Ranking Program, and have thus proved their ability to apply the Unicorn Approach in practice. We develop 6

7 A N N U A L R E P O R T information systems for people, so in 2010 we have increased the emphasis on User Experience in order to improve the user-friendliness and intuitiveness of the solutions we create. I would hereby like to thank all of our partners and clients for their confidence. We greatly appreciate it and we shall continue to strengthen that trust by providing services and solutions in the agreed quality, scope, time, and budget. I would also like to thank all of our employees who contribute to the satisfaction of our clients and to the overall results of Unicorn Systems through their ideas and efforts. The goal of Unicorn Systems for 2011 is to continue providing quality services and solutions with a high added value for its clients. As a result of that, we expect a growth in total revenue and a further increase in income from abroad. I believe that the upcoming year of 2011 will be another successful one for Unicorn Systems. 14 A N N U A L R E P O R T AWARDS FOR INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS Unicorn Systems completed projects using innovative technologies for which it received number of awards. These awards relate, for example, to the solution for the Knowledge Database of the Česká pojišťovna Communication Center based on the Microsoft FAST search technology, or the Claims Handling solution for Allianz pojišťovna, using the Business Process Management platform from IBM. EUROPEAN PROJECTS IN THE POWER INDUSTRY We have successfully continued in the implementation of the complex Damas information system for the automation of business and technical processes for European transmission system operators. The transmission system operators in Romania and Ireland and also the operator of the BritNed undersea power interconnector became new users of Damas system. Within the European CWE-Market Coupling project interconnecting electricity markets throughout the Central Western Europe region, we have developed the TSO Common System and the Energy Communication Platform. Both platforms were later re-used to develop the CTDS system. Thanks to the CTDS system, the reliability and safety of electricity supplies improved for over 170 million citizens in 10 European countries. 14

15 A N N U A L R E P O R T PACKAGE SOLUTIONS Next to the bespoke information systems implemented for its clients, Unicorn Systems successfully implemented information systems based on business partners applications. An example of this is the restructuring of Debt Collection process for Českomoravská stavební spořitelna using a solution from Loxon. We have also strengthened cooperation in the field of providing Oracle solutions for ERP, CRM, and SAS solutions in the business analysis domain. SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE In 2010, we successfully implemented solutions in the form of SaaS (Software as a Service), using the Unicorn Universe internet service. This included projects for the Ministry of the Interior of the CR, the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the CR, Výstavba sítí Kolín, and others. UNICORN TOP GUN Within the Unicorn Top Gun Academy, a long-term complex educational and testing program, a number of our employees successfully completed the 2nd Star Ranking Program, and have thus proved their ability to apply the Unicorn Approach in practice. The list of successful graduates of the 1st Star Ranking Program also expanded. EXTENSION OF CERTIFICATIONS Unicorn Systems acquired the ISO standard for IT Service Management and ISO for Information Security Management System, awarded by the German certification company TÜV SÜD. 15
