2 Time flies and soon it is time for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup Final in Sweden The organizing committees of the Royal Palace sprint in Stockholm and the Svenska Skidspelen in Falun wishes you welcome to the FIS Cross-Country World Cup Final presented by Viessmann. We re looking forward to greet the Kings and Queens of Cross Country skiing during our competitions. The organizing committees of the Svenska Skidspelen in Falun are also proud to announce that H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf will be present during the weekend in Falun. Accreditation All the necessary documentation regarding accreditation and accommodation can be found on our websites and Send all requests for Stockholm and Falun directly to Royal Palace Sprint Stockholm Hotels In Stockholm Scandic Hotel Sjöfartshotellet is media hotel, contact: (0) To assure available rooms, you must book before February Accreditation cards and Media Centre The accreditation card or west must be worn visibly. Those who not have an accreditation card valid for FIS WC XC 2011/2012 will get it from the Media Centre, located in Trädgårdsgatan 9, about 150 meter from the finish area. You need your accreditation card to enter. Media Centre opening hours Tuesday 13/ Wednesday 14/ Press Conference A Swedish press conferens will be held at Swedbank head office Tuesday 13th of March, at Address Swedbank: Brunkebergstorg 8, Stockholm. For interviews with participants from other teams, please get in touch directly with their media manager After the sprint, there will not be any press conference. The interviews take place in the mixed zone. 3 Svenska Skidspelen Falun Hotels The hotels in Falun are fully booked. We recommend you to contact hotels in Borlänge First Hotell Brage, (0) och Scandic Hotell Borlänge (0) It takes approximately 20 minutes by car between Borlänge and Falun. Presscenter in Falun Press centre at Järlindens Gård is the main media centre.it is situated close to the stadium and will offer the attending media representatives generous opening hours. This is also where you find our mediacafé. Media centre at Grand hotel is a sub-centre for handing out accreditations and parking permits, signing up for activities, and service for media before the competition. Obs the time. The press conference will take place at First hotel Grand. In Falun press Conferences will also be held in connection to each race event at the press conference tent by the mixed zone. Opening Ceremony in Falun Thursday March 15, Opening Ceremony for Svenska Skidspelen, Main square in Falun. Royal visit H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf will visit Falun and Svenska Skidspelen. H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf last visited Svenska Skidspelen The Swedish Ski Association host this visit.

4 Svenska Skidspelen greet camping guests During a couple of years a group of Norwegians have visited Svenska Skidspelen and put up their tents in the forest along the tracks. This year Svenska Skidspelen, with Holmekollen and Norway as a model, invests in a bigger and more preperad area for campers. There will be a bigger area close to the tracks for more campers. The area will be just close to Dalahus-stugan just a couple of hundred meters from the stadium-area. Photography For photographers who are assigned access to the Ski Stadium, fenced areas and assigned photo areas, there are FIS certified photo vests/bibs. NOTE, news in Falun this year the bibs will be handed out only at an information meeting. At this meeting we will brief you regarding the photo areas and also present to you the staff that will be to your and our help during the competitions. The vest/bibs must be worn visibly to avoid misunderstandings. There will be two opportunities for you to collect your vest/bib, Friday March 16, or Saturday March We will meet at the press conference tent by the mixed zone. SMS-news Svenska Skidspelen in Falun offers a text message service during the competitions, for distributing short briefings and news. If you wish to receive these news, please register your mobile phone number on the accreditation form. Visit the Falun Copper Mine If you would like to visit the Falun Copper Mine, part of Falun World Heritage, we will organise a guided tour free of charge, Thursday March 15, time will be announced later. You must register for this on the accreditation form. Minimum participants 10 persons. Media mingle Take the opportunity to end the season with a media mingle. More information about this will come in press-information. You register for this on the accreditation form. Stars on skies blog fight During the season two ski clubs has trained and competed and been blog coached by national team Hanna Falk and Daniel Rickardsson. Sunday March 18 the final competition will take place in Falun.
