TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH Read the following story about some Roman women who are protesting against a law proposed by the senate to curb their freedom in wearing lavish clothes and jewellery. 2 Translate the passage into natural English using the space provided on pages 3 and 5 (the passage has been printed again on page 4 so that you will not need to turn back to this page). Give the meaning of the Latin as accurately as possible. Note that the main parts of the words in bold are given, together with their meaning, after the passage.
