Academics BASH has been going to school for a total of 16 years, including primary school which he graduated in After graduating, he started in technical high school which he finished in 2011 and then went straight to university. Here he is currently studying software engineering while also working as an IT supporter on the side. BASH expects to graduate from university in 2016 and his goal is a master s degree in engineering and having a career in a field relating to that afterwards. He has always been very athletic and has been volunteering as a gymnastics coach in his local community. BASH s former jobs include being a janitor and delivering newspapers. His native language is Danish and he also speaks English and a little German. BASH has not served in the military. My goals in life are to have a good time and make a good impact on the world/society and the people that I love. I want to make a difference, to know that I have mattered.

2 Q&A with BASH BASH answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Kind, gentle and have a good spirit. I like people and they like me. I am calm and technical minded. I like to go on adventures and being spontaneous. Describe your strong sides: My strong sides are that I am full of energy and spontaneous. I tend to support people s ideas and I am not afraid to stand out in a crowd. I am good at technical things and everything related to computers. Describe your weak sides: I am not so disciplined and I hate cleaning. I am also kind towards people and that can sometimes bring me in situations where people misuse that. Which countries have you visited: Denmark, Sweden, Germany, England, Scotland, Iceland, Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Poland, Portugal, Jamaica, South Africa, Greece. Describe the best holiday you have had: I went on mountaineering with some of my friends to Kebnekaise. We drove all the way and then we had a blast climbing the mountain and sleeping in tents. What do you like the most about your own country: That we have public education and health care so that everyone is provided for. What is your marital status? Girlfriend. Do you have any children? No. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Soccer, basketball, gymnastics, swimming. Which other types of sports are you interested in? Gymnastics, diving, and some extreme sports. Because all these people have influenced me and people I like in good ways. It is because of them that I am happy and have a great and valuable life. What are your goals in life? My goals in life are to have a good time and make a good impact on the world/society and the people that I love. I want to make a difference, to know that I have mattered. What were your childhood dreams: Never to grow up. Which values do you rank the highest? Honesty, loyalty and humbleness because I think these are important to have if you want good friends and people around you that care for you. It is also important so that you can trust people around you. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? When my father took me and my brother to South Africa to see how they lived there. What is your favourite colour? Green because a lot of things in nature have that colour and it soothes me to see it. What is your favourite animal? Turtles because they have this long and peaceful life. They tend to move slowly about and seem like they just enjoy being where ever they are. What is your favourite kind of food? Meat and vegetables. What is your favourite kind of music? Classical, rock and rap. What is your favourite car? McLaren sports cars. What is your favourite pet?
