T set up a new accunt r edit the settings n an existing ne, click the Tls menu and then select Accunts t pen the Accunts panel. 3 Setting up an additinal accunt: Once any accunt has been set up in Outlk 2016, additinal accunts can be added by clicking the plus sign in the lwer left crner and selecting Other frm the pull-dwn menu: Galaxias Cmmercial Centre, 1061 Nicsia, Cyprus t e.

4 Changing the settings fr an existing accunt: Click n the accunt s name in the accunt list n the left t make changes t any existing accunt in Outlk 2016, and skip ahead t Step #4: Editing an Existing Accunt. Nte: Yu cannt edit an existing accunt t directly change its cnnectin methd. T change an accunt frm POP t IMAP r vice versa, simply add a new accunt fr the address as described belw and select the desired cnnectin type. Outlk 2016 will allw yu t have multiple accunts fr the same address, s an accunt fr sample@example.cm using IMAP can cexist with an accunt fr sample@example.cm using POP. T prevent data lss, d nt delete the existing accunt befre adding a new ne. Step #2: Cnfiguring a New Accunt On the accunt infrmatin panel, enter the infrmatin as fllws: At first, yu will nly see the address and Passwrd fields. Once yu enter yur address, Outlk 2016 will recgnize that yu re nt attempting t cnnect t a web service such as iclud, Ggle, r Yah, and will autmatically expand the windw t reveal all the fields shwn in the image abve. address: requires yur cmplete address, such as sample@example.cm. 5 Passwrd: is the passwrd assciated with the accunt. User Name: is yur full address. It shuld exactly match what yu entered int the address field abve. Type: yu may select IMAP r POP. POP3 is recmmended Incming server: When using standard (nn-ssl) settings, use mail.yurdmainname.cm When using secure (SSL) settings, use the server s hstname (hsting.blenddigital.cm) The default prt numbers shuld nt need t be changed unless yu have cnfigured yur server t use nn-standard prts (nt cmmn) Check the bx next t Use SSL t cnnect (recmmended) Outging server: When using standard (nn-ssl) settings, use mail.yurdmainname.cm When using secure (SSL) settings, use the server s hstname (hsting.blenddigital.cm) The default prt numbers shuld nt need t be changed unless yu have cnfigured yur server t use nn-standard prts (nt cmmn) Check the bx next t Use SSL t cnnect (recmmended) Once yu ve entered all the requested infrmatin, click the Add Accunt buttn at the bttm f the windw t create the accunt with yur specified settings. Step #3: Cnfigure Security Settings When yu add yur accunt, an alert windw may prmpt yu t review security settings. This is expected if yu have nt already purchased and installed a signed, third-party verified SSL certificate n yur mail server. If yu see n such prmpt, then yu re all set and can begin using Outlk 2016 with yur accunt immediately. If yu d get a security prmpt, which specifies that infrmatin that yu view and send will be encrypted, nte that Outlk 2016 will nt be able t verify the security f the certificate thrugh a thirdparty because yu are the nly authrity validating it: Galaxias Cmmercial Centre, 1061 Nicsia, Cyprus t e. inf@blenddigital.cm

6 If yu wish t prceed with the cnnectin, yu have tw ptins: Yu can click the Cntinue buttn t prceed, with the caveat that yu may need t accept the warning each time Outlk cnnects. Or, yu can permanently stre the certificate and treat it as trusted, by clicking Shw Certificate and then checking the bx next t Always trust befre clicking Cntinue. Yu will need t authenticate with yur passwrd t stre the exceptin fr yur self-signed certificate. Once cnnected, Outlk 2016 will dwnlad yur mail frm the server alng with any custm directries yu ve added, which will be synced by default. Step #4: Editing an Existing Accunt T change the settings n an existing accunt, click the Tls menu and then select Accunts t pen the Accunts panel. The Mre Optins buttn will allw yu t cnfigure authenticatin fr the utging (SMTP) mail server: Authenticatin: Typically, Use Incming Server Inf is sufficient, but if yu receive cnnectin errrs due t SMTP authenticatin, yu may need t select User Name and Passwrd. D nt select Nne; yu will nt be able t send mail if Nne is selected as the authenticatin type. User Name: This field can nly be filled in if yu use the User Name and Passwrd authenticatin type. If enabled, it must be the full address. Passwrd: This field can nly be filled in if yu use the User Name and Passwrd authenticatin type. If enabled, use the accunt s passwrd. 9 Bnus: Select IMAP Flders t Sync By default, Outlk 2016 fr Mac OS X will sync all IMAP flders. T specify which nes yu want t sync, pull dwn under the Tls menu and select IMAP Flders t bring up the Flder Brwser. In the Flder Brwser, yu will see a list f yur accunts in the left pane. In the first pane, click n the IMAP accunt s name In the secnd pane, click n INBOX (r the desired custm flder, if listed) In the third pane, click n the flder t which yu want t subscribe r unsubscribe. Flders t which yu already are subscribed will be displayed in bld type, while flders t which yu are nt currently subscribed will be displayed in a light-face fnt. Nte that n sme versins f Mac OS X, the distinctin can be almst imperceptible. Clicking n the name f a flder t which yu are subscribed will allw yu t click the red ( )Unsubscribe buttn in the tp-left menu, and clicking n the name f a flder t which yu are nt subscribed will allw yu t click n the green ( + ) Subscribe buttn in the tp-left menu.
