2 TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS 1. This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis Queensland approved by ITF and TSA and shall be conducted in accordance with the laws of the game adopted by ITF and Tennis Australia & Member Association Events Disciplinary Policy. 2. The Tournament Management Committee, hereinafter referred to as the Committee shall have the entire control and management of the Tournament. Any matter not specifically covered by these conditions shall be resolved by the Committee, whose decision shall be final. 3. All Australian resident players must have their relevant State 2015 MYTENNIS ID and must provide their MYTENNIS ID on demand. 4. All Queensland resident Senior tournament players MUST be members of Tennis Seniors Queensland Inc. Qld residents who are not members MUST pay 20.00Membership Fee with their entry to be eligible to play in this tournament. Players must nominate which club they wish their membership to be credited to. 5. All other competitors (interstate/overseas) should be members of a recognised State or National Seniors Association. Players who are NOT members of a recognised Seniors Association MUST pay an additional Temporary Membership Fee to be eligible to play in this Tournament ONLY. 6. PLAYERS CANNOT ENTER BOTH IPIN AND NON-IPIN EVENTS. The only exception to this condition is if and when IPIN entrants are eliminated from all IPIN events prior to the on-site closing entry dates and times for non-ipin events. They are then eligible to enter non-ipin events. On-site entries will be accepted for non-ipin events until the following deadlines: Events 48-57: 4pm Friday July 3; Events 58-66: 4pm Saturday July 4; Events 67-75: 4pm Sunday July 5. Doubles competitors are expected to enter with partners. Players entering a doubles event without naming a partner shall accept the partner allocated by the Tournament Director. However, this does not impose any obligation on the Tournament Director to find a partner. 7. Singles Events - play will commence on Friday morning 3rd July. Players in any IPIN events must be available for play on Friday if required. Where draws exceed 16 entries, some players will be required to play 2 matches in that event on the Friday, possibly followed by a doubles match. 8. SEEDINGS: All IPIN events will be seeded by ITF from the latest ITF Seniors World Ranking List. The TSA National selectors may award exempt seeds. 9. Events 1-19 will be conducted as knock-out events and shall be the best of 3 tie-break sets and will be played each morning. Events with less than 8 will be played as round robins. Except 80+ events will be best of two sets with a deciding 10 point match tie-break at one set all. Events will be best of 2 sets with a deciding 10 point match tie-break at one set all. These formats will only change if there is a significant interruption to play because of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. All non-ipin doubles will be played as round robins. 10. The Seniors ITF tie-break rule will be used during this tournament, play one point and change ends and then change after every four points. 11. ENTRY FEES: Singles Doubles per player. 12. Entries close Wednesday 17 June The only exception to this rule is as per condition 6 above. Players are requested to enter online where possible. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by entry fees. Phone/ entries will not be accepted. Late entries will not be accepted. No refunds will be given after the draws have been made. 14. It is the player s responsibility to ascertain the draw and be in attendance at the courts fifteen minutes before their scheduled time of play. 15. This Tournament is open to all players who are 35 years and over as at 31 st December, Wilson AO tennis balls will be used exclusively for the Tournament. 17. In entering the Tournament, a player automatically grants the ITF, Tennis Seniors Queensland and Tennis Seniors Australia, the right in perpetuity to make, use and show pictures of him/her, motion or still, taken during the competition without compensation. 18. The IPIN events time draw will be posted on on Wednesday 1 st July, or available by phoning the Tournament Assistant Director on The full draw will be placed on the Notice Board at the Gold Coast Seniors Tennis Club on Thursday afternoon 2nd July. Non-IPIN doubles events will commence at 9am or 1.00pm Saturday and Sunday, and 10am Sunday. Please check the round robin draws for venues. 19. Entering IPIN events. Players must have a current IPIN to enter these events. Players are limited to entering a maximum of 3 events, including a maximum of one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles. Players must enter on both and Payment of entry fees is to be made on Entering non-ipin events. Players do not need an IPIN to enter these events. Players need to enter and make payment only on
